In 1993 Jim Moon founded Gutter Helmet of New England. He built the business around one core principle, that the customer deserves the very best. Over the past two decades, Jim expanded the product line to include Replacement Windows & Doors, Ice Defense featuring Heated Helmet, siding, Dr. Energy Saver energy saving solutions, and GAF Master Elite certified roofing. In 2014, Moonworks became a Mass Save participating contractor.
Though our company has expanded, our principle remains the same: provide first-class customer service and offer the very best materials combined with professional installation.
“It’s been great to watch the business grow.” says Jim, who in 2009 changed the name of the company from Gutter Helmet of New England to simply, Moonworks. “I had two reasons for this - To honor my dad who introduced me to Gutter Helmet and to demonstrate to my employees, partners, suppliers and, most of all, my customers that I literally put my own name on everything we do.
