Great riding stables. They are considerate of a mostly non-riding customer base so they have mounting ramps to make it easy to mount up. The guide are helpful and experienced. The trail was beautiful and a nice ride! Will definitely ride with them again.
Love this place!!!! Beautiful views of the Rocky mountains and our guide was very sweet and great with the horses. Definitely recommend this stable
Awesome trail ride. Amanda was a wonderful trail guild and patient with our small group. All the staff was very attentive to the animals and customers. The trail was very scenic. Memories for a life time. The horses are very well trained for novice riders. Just a little direction is all they need. We chose the two hour ride which is a good place to start for someone that has never ride before. My daughter rides on a regular basis and she was entertained also but she wished she could keep going. Thank you Hi-Country Stables and don't forget to tip your guide.
Amazing experience! Our guide was awesome, the horses were great, and the ride was so much fun. It was my son's first time rising a horse, and he loved it. They gave him a great horse. We'll worth the money. I highly recommend this adventure in the Rocky Mountains!
What great fun this was! It has been years since I was last on a horse so I was a little nervous. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and safety minded. The horses were well behaved except for an occasional nibble of grass and appeared to be will fed. They put me and my 3 kids totally at ease. We saw, a herd of Elk, deer and something that must have been a wild turkey. Although, I am not sure as I have never seen a wild turkey before. A wonderful experience in an amazing setting. Wow.
The views on the 2 hour Beaver Meadows ride were breathtaking! The stable manager, Chloe, was so pleasant and accommodating along with Mo, our guide, both of whom were just fun! ALL of the stable hands were amazing. Ask for the horse Curly Sue, a beautiful mare that was a blast to ride!!
Beautiful ride. Great horses. Staff was amazing.
Provided excellent experience of the national park through the course of a one hour trail ride. The ride was well-timed and managed nicely overall by our young guide, which eased scheduling tensions associated with traveling the two hour drive to the stable from downtown Denver and making our flight following the two and a half hour drive from the stable to DIA. Our experience was true to our expectations, exceeding only by way of sensory immersion a unique mountain ride on horseback filled with sights and sounds otherwise unimaginable.
We were thier this past Sunday and had a wonderful time. the staff was awesome. We also had a wonderful guide taking us on the trails. I would highly recommend the place for trail ridding. All their horses were amazing and so gentle.
We were met by Chloe who is wonderful. Very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Jason was our guide and he made sure everyone was safe. He pointed out many things of interest. The staple is very clean and the horses are well taken care of and well mannered. I highly recommend Moraine stables
