Honestly I couldn't have any better experience with Morris-Baker. They have helped and conducted two services for our family one for my mother and the other for my wife. The people are absolutely wonderful to deal with from being greeted at the door to making all the arrangements. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any of your funeral services needs. It's the only family operated funeral home left in town and it shows in how they deal with people. If anyone is in need of their services I would highly recommend them. God Bless Scott
When an employee of ours sister recently passed away in Johnson City we called on the staff at Morris Baker to help us. My first conversation was with Kelsey. It was after hours, but she was very reassuring that everything we needed would be taken care of with the highest regard and compassion. Soon after I talked to Mark who also reassured is that he would handle Ms. Barker with care and compassion. The next morning when our employee entered the funeral home she met Preston. She was at complete ease knowing that her sister was in good care. The entire process and work that Morris Baker did for the Barker family was above and beyond. Our employee came away with the closure she needed in accepting her sisters sudden death. Thank you to all the staff who assisted in this effort. I could not be more please with what you all did. You are a blessing from God.
Several years ago, my husband and I went to Morris Baker to pre-plan our funerals. The entire staff was so helpful by showing us the various options and all that was available. When my husband passed away in April, the pre-planning made things much easier. Preston McKee and the staff were very helpful in navigating the final decisions with care, consideration, patience, and knowledge. They were with me throughout the entire process from the funeral through the burial.
Cannot speak highly enough of Katie and her team. Their services and thoughtfulness guided us thru our difficult time. Highly recommend.

I was very impressed working with Katie J. on her professionalism, friendliness and and knowledge of the process. This is a very sensitive emotional time for families and all the staff were always respectful. Morris Baker’s care and professionalism was of utmost value during a trying time.
My mother passed away recently, and we chose to use Morris-Baker for the cremation and funeral arrangements. We were very impressed with their professionalism, attention to details, and seeing that we were taken care of during every step of the way. They were always available if we had a question or concern, and they got back to us quickly. There has also been follow up with us via phone calls and texts to see if we need anything even after the service. I highly recommend them!
My parents pre-planned and pre-paid their funeral arrangements with Morris-Baker Funeral Home years ago. When my dad recently passed, I contacted them and they took care of everything including the transportation from out of state. Each staff member we encountered was extremely professional and polite, taking time to answer our questions and address our concerns. We were treated with respect and compassion throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be more pleased with the Morris Baker staff at the funeral. Katie and Mark were so patient and pleasant, making sure everything went according to plan, while Donnie did a wonderful job with the service as the officiant. Overall we are are extremely satisfied and highly recommend their services.
