I'm giving 2 stars only because Dr. Morrison is great. My son and I have been coming here for almost 10 years. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years his staff has changed, and mainly the girl working the front desk is not friendly. She tried to fake it until she realized I wasn't purchasing glasses for my son there after his eye exam. I have purchased multiple glasses from here in the past, but they do have a small selection, especially for kids, and my son needs those virtually indestructible/very flexible frames which they do not offer. I asked her to print his prescription, which like any parent, I like to keep them on file. I asked if his PD was on there. She told me, "We didn't measure his PD, and since you're not purchasing glasses today we're not going to".... She then handed me the prescription, and turned around continuing to work without saying anything else. I would never treat a patient like that, and I'm embarrassed for her for doing so, even though she clearly wasn't. I went to For Eyes in Chicago Ridge 3 weeks ago. I didn't purchase glasses there yet, but they printed my prescription without me having to even ask and happily measured my PD, which takes 2 seconds. I can measure my son's PD, but just like to make 100% sure that everything is accurate for his Rx. Unfortunately, we won't be going back to Morrison Eye Care. I am a Medical Assistant, and I know how much of a difference a doctor's staff makes even if he/she is a wonderful doctor. What a shame.
I was given an appointment the very morning I called. The doctor immediately referred me to an email ye surgeon who did surgery on my eye shortly later. The eyesight in my right eye was saved! Amazing people who care! I tell everyone about what you did to help me. Many have asked me for his location. They want his services too!!
I had high hopes for this place. They have excellent reviews. They are not for us. My daughter had issues with the rx he gave us so reluctantly without checking her again he changed her rx while putting up a stink. And that rx was even worse. I’m talking dizziness.. migraines ect. So those glasses were trash to me. He refused to recheck her and insisted her initial rx was correct. Okay.. sure. Doctors can be so pompous it’s ridicules. We’ll we moved far away. I found a new eye doctor. Who is actually amazing and doesn’t treat me like an imbecile. And like I thought the glasses Morrison eye care gave us BOTH rx were completely wrong. Completely! My daughter now has a new pair and they are going great. I cannot express how disappointed I am with this place and the way he insisted he was right and we were all wrong. Everyone is different and unique. When there is an issue doctors should listen. Not act like since they went to medical school they are the all and powerful OZ. That’s all. If you do go here because of the great reviews don’t let him walk all over you and stop on you like your an amoeba. You do have a voice you are your own best advocate.

I have been a patient for 20 years and love Dr. Morrison!! He is very personable and keeps up with the changes in his field. And he couldn't be a wonderful doctor without a wonderful staff! I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else . I highly recommend Dr. Morrison
