Morton Overlook is a scenic mountain look-out inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Very popular among photographers, the entrance is FREE. The park is one of the few national parks where no entrance fees is charged.
A great picture spot, providing a spectacular view. The mountains appear Layered in varying shades of bluish-gray-green to fall colors, also popular for sunsets. Found 14 miles South of Gatlinburg TN on the drive up/down US 441 at mm 14.06, just North of the Newfound Gap. It has an elevation of 1,471 meters, or 4,826 feet.
