I arrived at 7:55am. Visiting hours start at 8am. I was 3rd in line. Gratefully masks are required. At 8am, the first person allowed security to look through their belongings, then they walked through the metal detector and got directions to their destination. I highly recommend this. The line went quickly. I stayed until the end of visiting hours 8pm. The staff was kind and helpful. The facilities are clean and look new. If I need hospital care this is my first choice. It is quite large and can be confusing. The West entrance is on the G floor. Some elevators only service some floors. Some building are only connected on the first floor. The cafeteria food is quite good too. Here are a few photos of the Foundation names.
I'll start with the gynecologist Dr. Kraft, during my pregnancy, when I came to the doctor, he was very attentive, caring, and most importantly, he always treated every issue with adequate responsibility. Only the best and positive feedback about dr. C. KRAFT! I gave birth at the Morton Plant hospital, a very good hospital, I was a little surprised when I gave birth in the ward, but this is not the most important thing, the hospital staff, all the nurses are very attentive, competent in their matters, set me up only for a positive result, I am very satisfied. Meals on the menu in the hospital, everything is quite tasty, which is necessary for a future mother. I gave birth to Dr. Elvia Vallejo, amazing woman, also very knowledgeable with her help. She gave birth quickly and painlessly! Many thanks to the hospital doctors and nurses! I applaud you a hundred times and say thank you for my first and such an amazing experience!!!
My whole birthing experience at Morton Plant Hospital was phenomenal. There wasn’t a single staff member that I didn’t have a great experience with. Each nurse, doctor, and tech were all very informative, knowledgeable, and very well trained. I especially had a great experience with Nurse Bobbie during my postpartum recovery stay. She was amazing at helping me get my baby to latch/nurse and was so friendly and took the time to explain everything to me.
As usual, your staff were top notch. We have been coming to Morton Plant Hospital since the 1950’s. The care has always been excellent and this time it was as well. All the nurses on my floor were very nice and caring. One in particular stood out, her name is Chelsea I believe. She is a Rock Star! My family was very impressed with her care for them as well as for me. She is a valuable asset to the institution!
The attitude of the nurses awesome! They are so cheerful and caring which is a big factor in helping patients feel better. The hospital rates a 10 for cleanness. Your food service is outstanding. All meals arrived hot and promptly. Menu offered a great selection.
LABOR & DELIVERY: Rock-star nurses Stephanie, Julissa, Katie and ALL the others. Special thanks to Katie for bringing an issue to the Dr.’s attention that moved us from natural birth to C-section and saved us from a potentially drastic situation. Incredible attention to the smallest details we will never forget. POST PARTUM mom & baby rooms: Alexis took us from being fumbling rookies to feeling confident taking our baby home in a very short time. Non stop attention to every important detail and genuine care for my wife and the baby. Chelsea advised us the last day with great tips for after we got the baby home. Using them now. Operating Room: All the doctors and nurses in the OR ran like a well oiled machine and we never once felt nervous about any outcome. Dr. Vallejo, our OB, got to deliver our baby and was fantastic. All the doctors that watched us during our stay were top notch. Cafeteria: MPH should step up the food quality in the cafeteria for the staff that has to be there everyday. This place was INCREDIBLE. Lucky to have them.
Recently had heart ablation done to correct my aflutter heart rate. Prep folks were tremendously personal, made me very comfortable. The actual team that did the procedure were excellent. Kept me up to date until I was sedated. Recovery nurse was brilliant. Arrived at 9am and was home by 6pm. So far so good, have follow up beginning of October. A little pain in the left side of my chest, nothing significant. Not sure if I'm just more cognizant of my heart beat, but I can feel it when I'm resting. Hopefully that will subside.
From the short time waiting in the emergency room, to being taken inside and seen by the doctors, to the impressive care from the nurse Jimmy, and the speed my husband was taken to the hospital room… EXCELLENT CARE! Then once in the room, he continued to receive the BEST care one can expect! We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Extremely nice and caring staff overall, but I want to say a special THANKS to Jimmy in the emergency room and Jenifer at the 4th floor Night Shift. They went above and beyond to make their patients comfortable. We wish them all the best!
I recently had an experience in the emergency room at Morton Plant Hospital. I was quickly put into a room and visited by exceptional nurses who saw to my every need. Then Dr. Walter came into the room, he had ordered all these tests in advance which were done with great care and rapidly. He was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. He gave me exceptional advise and kept trying different medications to ease my nausea. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend if you have to use the Emergency room. I am so grateful for having my baby at Morton Plan Hospital in Clearwater, August 15 ,2022, all nurses and my doctor Elvia Vallejo took care of me and my baby with kindness and caring. Doctor Vallejo is intelligent, sweet and great professional. I will have my next baby with her again! I had a lot of attention and all nurses are amazing. There is a nurse in my surgery called Taylor she was a such blessing in my live in that day and I will not never forget about her attention to me. She hold my hands and she took great care of me. But all other nurses visited me in my room it was amazing. And the people of restaurant were so nice too and the food was great too. I am really grateful I had big support
