Atmosphere was dark and loud. Great lighting. Our waiter was good. His helpers forgot 2 bring us our bread and 1 other thing. Lobster bisque was yummy. Lamb cooks were cooked perfect. Lobster Mac was dry. Steak wasn’t cooked medium rare. It was more rare. Bone in steak is a must if they cook it right. Key lime pie is a MUST HAVE. We’re long time Morton’s customers from Hawai’i. Our first time dining at this one. Would be a 5 off our streak was cooked correctly. Also if they silent have forgotten things.
I haven’t eaten in a Morton’s for many years. I have eaten at the original one in Chicago and others but it was my first time at this one. The hostess sat us and didn’t tell the main server. The assistant server Justin was very attentive and got us water and bread. Edgar was our main server and apologized for the wait even though it wasn’t that long. His service was impeccable and reminded me of the old style Morton’s before the chain was bought by the Landry group. I was sad to hear it was part of a larger retail conglomerate. However the food was still amazing. I was just kinda put off by the fact that people weren’t dressed up like back in the day. A lot of people wearing shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers. Maybe because it’s Orlando which is a tourist town but I think for this style of restaurant, a semi-formal dress code should be enforced. The only reason I am giving a full five star review is because of Edgar. Thank you!!
The service was exceptional. Truly enjoyable service staff, from the managers on down. We had a great time and enjoyed laughing alongside them. The food was great. Truly a good steak and was cooked to perfection. The banquet facility was pretty nice. The ceiling was lower than I was hoping and it would have been great to have a minimal amplified sound option for a microphone to speak over our guests while they ate. Overall, very nice facility and easy to work with. Grateful for Morgan and all the work she put in with us.
Absolutely the best family dinner ive EVER had in my life, service was amazing, food was amazing and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and just magnificent. Compliments to the chefs last night and my awesome server!Food: 5/5
10/10. Second time going, went for my birthday. They took a picture of me and my whole family and printed it out under a beautiful background, provided a delicious dessert, and impeccable service. Kasandra was the greatest waitress I’ve ever had!!Food: 5/5
Fantastic place. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The dress code is business casual. We went to celebrate an anniversary and I don't think we could have celebrated it in a better place. Everyone was helpful, nice, and you could tell that they all love their jobs. Thank you for a great experience and we will def be back!
Great experience at Morton's. I ordered the Cajun ribeye and it was worth every penny. I decided to try it after the recommendation from the bar tender based on my questions. I have no regrets. You can taste the prime rating in the beef. The service was superb as well. Even though they were busy I still felt taken care of. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a high end steakhouse; collars and dresses were the norm, with a few exceptions. Everyone enjoying themselves. Grateful to have visited as my final meal in Orlando.
You can never go wrong with Mortons! It's 5 star service every single time.Food: 5/5
The food was great. However, the service was lacking. We hade a table of 6 and felt once the server was told we were going to order from the magical dining menu, we became secondary thought. The quickest he returned to the table was to cash us out. It was also louder than I expected. I felt the music was loud for a nice restaurant, which caused to guest to fight to be heard over the music and others talking. It made having a conversation with those at the table difficult. I have to say I was disappointed in the atmosphere and service.
I have mixed feelings about this place. We first walked in dressed very nice Myself with heels and a black dress and hubby with long pants, shoes, a dress shirt and a tropic business casual hat *I have attached a photo.. I saw that they have a sign on the door that said "no flip flops, NO SHORTS, only business casual wear and no hats" As we walked inside, a group of tourists walked out with Flip-flops and shorts.all men The host then looked at us and said that my husband had to take off his business cap. I asked why MULTIPLE people were inside with shorts and flip flops and she responded "because it's Florida"..... So people don't have to follow the business casual rule when it comes to flip flops and shorts, but when people that ARE DRESSED in business casual wear show up, they aren't allowed in because of a business cap? Not even an annoying hat with logos and bright colors either.. just a black tropic milk man cap Then I look down and see that the host is wearing checkered colored vans and many people did not look nearly as dressed as us.. The food was delicious, asked for a Medium steak and received a rare steak but it's okay. It still tasted fine, I guess. Drinks are pretty small for the pricing that each drink has, you would expect a good amount of drink in a glass. Servers are nice.
