This place would be so much better if the trash would be picked up. There is so much trash and broken glass that it's hard to enjoy the beauty of it. I'll probably pick up trash the next time I go.
It's ok, not very family friendly and no way to get down safely. Nice view from up top though.
Very beautiful park. The scenery is gorgeous to watch sunsets. I love the landscaping. You can also hike and fish. But its a great spot for photography and get togethers and even just to sit and relax. It's very well kept and clean. The only complaint i have is everytime i have went the trash cans have been locked shut. So how do we throw our trash out? Other then that it's a perfect spot.
Found this spot by map viewing. Went on a Saturday morning and it appears the regulars were already at the picnic benches drinking six packs. The ad hoc trails down to the water and steep but doable. I gotta say, not just here, but so many places the trash problem is disgusting. What is wrong with people? Once you get to the water, there are some open areas where you can cast a fishing line without worrying about hanging up on foliage. Next time I go anywhere, I am bringing a contractor trash bag to help clean up. I'll encourage decent people to do the same.
Beautiful place to relax. Amazing view of the vast lake and best place on Fort Worth area to enjoy the sunset. Magical.

This is an excellent little park with a stunning overlook of Lake Worth and Goat Island.
