Motel 6

I came here on an emergency basis due to my vehicle breaking down on the interstate. The police took me off the interstate to a safe place along with my two cats. Upon arrival, front desk claimed not to have anymore rooms available which I'm not sure if that was the truth. After waiting for my friend to get off work to come pick me up, I needed to use the restroom. I asked if there was a restroom inside commons area and there wasn't then I asked if he could keep an eye out on my cats while I run over to the gas station to use their restroom, he was unwilling to do that either. I think it's relatively safe to say NOT to come here in an emergency situation, however, I won't stop back for any occasion.

The room was a little dirty with some finicky lights, the bathroom light did not work. The bedsheets had holes in them. The pool was unheated. On the other hand the staff was very kind and provided excellent service. Free coffee. I did enjoy my stay and to be fair we booked the room late. The motel is pet friendly. The location is on the middle of nowhere but there are good restaurants nearby and a few convince stores. Walkability: Very close restaurants and many Circle K's nearby.

Better than most! Lots of pet walking area. Clean and secure location. Friendly staff. I exclusively stay in Motel 6 properties when traveling, due to the fantastic pet policy. Compared to the many Motel 6's that I've stayed in, the Chandler AZ location is top notch! There was some visible wear and tear in the room, which is to be expected, unfortunately. It's sad that so many people abuse the furnishings. More importantly though, the staff, the property, and the cleanliness of the rooms, all exceeded my expectations. Every employee who I came into contact with, was refreshingly friendly and very helpful. I believe I've met them all by now, after my 2 week stay and I'm thoroughly impressed with the whole team. The grounds are well maintained and orderly, which is aesthetically pleasing. The property was quiet and it felt secure, even on the weekend. And the room was much cleaner than expected, upon arrival. Bottom line...I'd suspect that if someone doesn't have a good experience here, then they are quite possibly the problem themselves.

I stayed at this location for a night. The price was great for the location. Everything worked in the room. I felt safe. 10/10 would stay there again. Rooms: Clean, everything worked Safety: Pretty quiet area. Felt safe Food & drinks: There were multiple restaurants at walking distance and a gas station.

Stayed here for about a year and a half Amber was awesome took care of us she has an enormous heart unfortunately ppl took advantage of that, the management is different now the rooms seem to be cleaner maintenance has his hands full but that’s to be expected with an older motel it needs renovations badly the owner claims that they r coming, and they have been saying that for a while. The property owner he too has a big heart but it’s a business first and foremost . I’ve stayed at a couple motel 6’s and by far this is the best one so far not just for this area but in PHX and surrounding areas. Tho beware of the ppl around there seems to attract the wrong crowd at the other motels in close proximity. The night staff I don’t want to name names but one older lady in particular is rude and acts like she owns the place, she yelled at me for getting some ice when I was there visiting and threatened to have me arrested , where I’m from that’s called poor hospitality those kinda ppl should not be working with customer/ public cause it makes the business look bad. She needs to work on her customers service skills or lack there of. Over all it’s a decent place to lay your head at night and there are NO BUGS here not it the rooms at least . The pool is inviting clean refreshing….

This place was a trip. Lots of activity. Staff friendly. The night guy at front desk super kind and helpful. Always had coffee fresh and ready at 5:30am. Had our backs. The cleaning staff did extra if you tipped them once in awhile..hello?We had two dogs..one that wanted to bark and dig holes..no problems. Mind your own business and they'll mind yours.

Do not stay at this location. There was a woman screaming in distress for over two hours in the middle of the night. No one came to help her. The floors are disgustingly dirty and black. The sheets were dirty and stained. We couldn’t sleep under the covers or use the pillows. We didn’t even stay 24 hours. Do not stay at this room if you have a family or if you are a female. Unsure if this hotel room is used for some sort of trafficking. Safety: Extremely unsafe!

Worst experience! Room was dirty! Restroom door handle was broken so couldn’t even lock restroom! The room light sucks keep flickering took about 5 mins for the light to actually brighten! ALOT of junkies and homeless people coming in and out of the back dumpster! Front desk was aware of all of these and nothing was done !Rooms: 1/5

Very affordable and looks to be recently renovated. However, the floor in our room 101 was really dirty, the bedspread had multiple I stopped counting at 5 cigarette burns, the wall over the bed had many spots repainted in a different shade, and the bathroom door had splatters of unknown brown and dark red substances on it. Really made me feel like they didn't care about their property or me.

Find somewhere else to stay!!! Leaking toilet, mold, grubby walls, and doors. Someone banging on our door in the middle of the night and people living there full time. Sketchy af! When I brought the issue of the toilet to the desk all they said was OK and ignored us. The legit toilet connection was spraying water and to flush you had to finagle the handle.
