Motel 6

We never been here before. Spent 2 nights here & have no complaints. Appeared to be a safe area. Checking in was quick & friendly. Our room was nice, comfortable, simple & clean. Nothing fancy but we were really only there to sleep & get ready for our next day. Location was perfect w/walking distance to Burger King & other places for quick meals. LOTS of parking. Honestly we have no complaints!

Room was pretty dirty. There were black hairs on the towels. Floor didn't seem like it had been mopped or swept in a while. I realize it was a $40 room but still just felt gross and disgusting. The guy working the front counter was nice. This will be the last time I go cheap on a hotel, I am aware that I should have known better.

Check-in took forever. Bathroom was dirty & tub doesn't drain well. Beds are comfy although worn. Simple and basic hotel but good for the cheap price. Free Wi-fi absolutely SUCKS!!!

The room was clean and spacious. It was very hot when we first arrived and the air conditioning took several hours to really kick in, but after it did we were quite comfortable. Best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in, by far.

Got into the hotel around midnight. The front desk staff was nice, the room was cheap, clean, had no bugs. Bigger and nicer than I expected for the price. Check out was equally easy and pleasant. If I'm ever driving through again I would definitely stay here!

I wish I could like this place because I so appreciate a pet friendly motel. However, our room had not been cleaned and the A/C barely worked. My need for pet friendly, affordable motels is greater than my discomfort in this room but it would have been nice to have a clean shower and not have someone else's hairballs all over the room. No soap but housekeeping had kindly left their cleaning supplies for me. Get what you pay for I guess.

Very happy overall. Large parking area adjacent to a gas station, several delivery options for food. Room was clean, staff was very friendly,and the room was very affordable! Only negative was no shampoo in the room and we had not brought any.

Decent room, clean hard wood floors which is good because I generally avoid pet friendly hotels, comfortable bed. The hotel is quiet don't let the outside appearance chase you way the room has no clock but a nice bed and flat screen TV for $35 you can't beat that

This location is right off the highway and within walking distance of two fast food restaurants, a few minute's drive to a number of other restaurants. We've stayed at this location a few times and it has been consistently not bad. Sure it's not the greatest but I've definitely stayed in worse. The bed was great, the shower was hot, and the cleaning crew was better than some other places we've stayed. There were some maintenance problems that could be addressed but they were minor. In all, if you need a decent place to crash for the night in Emporia you could definitely do worse.

Very satisfied with my stays at motel 6. But this time the AC wasnt working well. Room temp was slightly uncomfortable being a little stuffy. AC would blow but never seemed to cool the room. Otherwise room was cleaned daily. Very satisfied with my stay otherwise.
