Mother Nature’s Goodies
Mother Nature's Goodies has been making dessert and bakery products since 1971. Virginia Goude (pronounced Goody), along with her family started the bakery by making granola from all-natural products. Her picture is on all the two pound granola packages. We make many different varieties of this popular breakfast food, incuding cinnamon raisin, blueberry apple, honey almond,and a fruit and nut combination containing dates, almonds and cashews along with many other varieties of granola mixes. Mother Nature's Goodies produces over 80,000 pounds of granola each month! Many of the bed and breakfast inns in the United States serve Mother Nature's Goodies granola to their guests. It's a favorite of European travelers. Our Granola is mixed, baked and cooled on special racks. The dried fruits are added to the granola in big stainless steel troughs, just before it is packaged and immediately shipped out to Markets. Eighty percent of the granola is sold in 25 pound bulk packages; the rest is sealed into two-pound re-sealable packages for home use. There are no preservatives or artificial ingredients in our products. In 1976, due to high demand for nutritious desserts, we started making frozen fruit pies using concentrated fruit juice as the sweetener and whole wheat crusts. In 1982 , Virginia's son David, Joined his mother in managing the business as it began to expand. Soon along with pies, Mother Nature's Goodies introduced a high quality pie crust that contained pure soy bean oil instead of the usual shortening. Recently we came out with a pie crust that uses real butter for the best flavor!
