Loved the place. Food was really good. Loved all the Buns and tried the Restaurant Week menu, everything was good. Only thing I would suggest is that they include the tips in the bill like other restaurants 22%, with out the service charge of 12% that they charge. Kinda inconvenience for customers i would say. I love tipping. But seeking 12% service charge and also tips on the side minimize the customers willingness to tip more to the servers. Either increase the price of the food and let the customers tip servers instead of the owner as a service charge. Its just confusing. Overall food wise- very good. Recommend
Great atmosphere! Staff was friendly and welcoming. I wish I loved the food and can say it was amazing like every other reviews but then everyone has their own opinion and then I have mine. I personally felt like the pork belly was very fatty for me. The sauce on it gave me Buffalo Wild Wing Asian Zing taste. Which I don't hate. The bun pork shoulder WAS okay & recd by our waitress. Which I'm glad that she recd it. JFC was decent. It looks burnt but doesn't taste like it. The fries would have been amazing. It looked like it was going to e crispy but it was a bit soggy. I wasn't mad at this place since I'm opened to trying new places. Was I satisfied with the food I'll have to be honest and say no. It didn't feel authentic. They also charge a 12% service fee charge and that's not considered tip . Other then that I managed to take really good photos! Lol This is a one time try and on to the next.
I would highly recommend this place!! The food was extremely good and so was the ambience. My dishes were so unique and haven't tasted in any other Ramen or Asian eateries. Small plates were top notch. Ambience was interesting with a rustic look. I liked the way we need to request for service here. We had to press a button at our seat and we got immediate attention from the crew.
I love this place. Amazing food menu of authentic Japanese cuisine. Great options for vegetarians as well. And a perfect cocktail menu to pair with your meal. The rooftop view is great and the staff is friendly and they truly know their stuff. I would go again.
FANTASTIC service cannot be stated enough, these people are awesome, food, and atmosphere. Home crafted sake! 3 levels, including a roof dine in! WORST criticism? It's hard to find, so I included photos of the entrance. Every dish was robust and filling, as ramen should be! Mule lovers? The Moto Mule is the BEST mule drink I have had, from any place, EVER. Vegetarian options: Mushroom Ramen, complete with tofu. Very nutty from the shiitake! Excellent choice Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
We loved the Ramen from this place. We came here for the sake taste. According to the restaurant, this is the only sake brewery in America. :D. It was kinda cool to try different sake and compare. This restaurant is more like a bar. My kid loved the shuffle board game there. He played while waiting for the food. We had the classic Ramen. The pork was smoked. I liked that flavor. Also the egg was perfectly poached. For Food I would give 5 stars. But there were couple of things that affects my overall rating. One confusion is the 12% service charge. Am I supposed to pay 20% tip on top of that? Also the AC was not working very well. It was kinda hot inside.
Very friendly services and always there especially when you ring the bell for services. The food was nice even though it's not as expected by my sister and her friend for it to be like southern California style ramen and all. I had mezcal in Mexico, California and then in Jersey which was disappointing and felt fake but this place was excellent on my mezcal drink. Thank you bartender I needed a nice drink after all the traveling. We also did a flight of sake and our server had some good recommendations. We barely spotted the place here but once inside it's a cute place with friendly staffs. Great to bring a dinner date and have one on one time without the crowd and loud music
We had super high hopes for this place but we’re underwhelmed by the lack of food they give for the prices they charge. Here’s our takeaway • their rangoons are worth it, super delicious. • sake is also top knotch • the 12% surcharge only adds to their prices • the buns barely had any meat on them. • the good luck cocktail is delicious • staff was also friendly & knowledgeable • wish there was a happy hour
Unique restaurant, great rooftop, amazing food. I've been here many times for happy hour & dinner but this was my 1st brunch & I can't wait to go back! Their Japanese omelet okonomiyaki omuretsu is one of the best things I've tasted in my life! I shared the house made vegetable pickles which were interesting! I'm a big bloody mary fan but the one here I didn't like. Personal preference, I think the seaweed gave it a weird taste. I'll have to try their other drinks next time!
Hands down the best bibimbap I ever had! I am not new to Korean food or bibimbap to be specific. My husband and I have tried several places in twin cities before we stumbled upon this place. We didn’t know what to expect, but our minds were blown! We enjoyed it very much. We also ordered the pot belly as starter and enjoyed it as well. The ambience is nice, beers are good, foods are awesome. Definitely worth a try.
