Excellent location for walking around Cranbrook. The site was clean, the hosts were polite and friendly and the bathrooms are spotless. Although it is located right in the heart of Cranbrook, with a couple of busy roads nearby, it was fairly quiet when we stayed there in June. If there was a complaint it was that the site we stayed in was not really level.
Nice municipal rv in Cranbrook. Very reasonable prices. Very clean washrooms. Some of the plumbing could use updating.
Excellent service with very friendly owners. Bathrooms and showers are small but exceptionally clean, and are locked to the public. Tenants are provided with a code to get in. Though the spaces are slightly together, you hardly noticeable because it is quiet and well kept. A small fenced green space for pets is available. Rules are clearly stated and enforced, such as quiet times and cleanliness. We would definitely would stay here again when through the area next time. Overall, an excellent and safe place to stay.
The camp hosts were friendly, decent price, clean and good location if you need to be by the rink. However we would not stay again due to quality of the campsites very small and the noise. If you do need to stay here make sure you get a site on the inside loop, if you end up next to the fence it is very noisy as it is next to a major roadway.
Nice sites, pull through or park in if you want sewer hook-up. We did not Very clean washroom. A bit noisy, but after 11 pm the traffic on the busy street next door had stopped, but it begins with sunup.
Colin and Lois are great camp hosts! Excellent washroom and showers. Good on site laundry. Even though there is no cement pad to park your chairs on, there is plenty of grass and shade. Picnic tables are provided at every site. Joseph Creek runs through the property providing a nice background noise. The park is located within a couple of blocks to the downtown area. Yes there is localtraffic noise during the day but hardly any at night. No semi's and no trains!
Great camp, shower buildings heated, so you don't freeze after showering. Really clean too! Although in the middle of the city was silent. WiFi worked, we could steam Netflix. Staff was friendly.
Stopped overnight in Cranbrook on a bit of a last minute decision, and got their last tenting spot. I couldn't have been happier with the pricing, service, and amenities provided at this tiny park right in town. Platform tent spots, laundry, WIFI, and the cleanest bathrooms ever. It was a great if short stay and if you need a place to crash in cranbrook I highly recommend this one.
Ok, to start the lower rating has nothing to do with the friendliness of the staff as they were amazing. I just do not feel that this was a very good campground for a family. If you are in an RV visiting family/friends that live in Cranbrook this would be good because it is literally in the city, and you would have the amenities of your RV. For a person tenting, or with kids this was not the best. Because it is in the city there are no fire pits. There was no park. The sites have virtually no privacy. It was good in the sense that I could watch my kids walk all the way down the lane unobstructed, but it also kinda felt a little uncomfortable. As well it was very well lit- if you are scared of the dark this is your piece of heaven. Otherwise the huge lights kept me up. It was not a bad experience per se just not quite what I look for when camping. We only stayed one night of our trip as result. Nothing against the operators, like I mentioned they were very friendly. It is just more suited to an RV type crowd.
We have stayed in this park numerous times over the last 4 years. The park hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The Wifi works great, and most sites have cable. Our site was shaded, although park is about 1/2 shaded. The one thing we like the most is that they are pet friendly. A separate pet area is available in the park where your dog can be unleashed, & there is a walking area adjacent to the RV Park. They do have a list of rules, but if you are a responsible pet owner, the rules make sense. We have seen many unresponsible pet owners in our RV travels, so we understand why the rules are necessary. We will continue to stay at this park when we are in the area.
