The Catholic Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph operates three cemeteries in the Kansas City, Missouri area and one in the St. Joseph, Missouri area. Each location offers a variety of burial options and services:

-Mount Olivet Cemetery, located at 7601 Blue Ridge Boulevard, has a variety of beautiful gardens and sprawling views.

Was very disappointed in the condition of Mt Olivet this Memorial Day. The grass albeit weeds needed to be mowed and the headstones were overgrown & hard to even read.  Very unhappy with how bad it was

I recently visited Mt Olivet to decorate the graves of my parents and daughter.  I was appalled at the condition of the grounds.   The grass around all the stones was overgrown so much that the inscriptions were unreadable.  This was all over the cemetery.  The streets can be likened to driving on a gravel road. It was more than obvious that there had not been any trimming or maintenance done recently.  Very disappointed.
