Mount Saint Joseph Hospital

I had a small hand operation I got 2 cute stitches for a home accident recently and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care I received from the doctor and nurses at this clinic. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The nurses were kind, attentive, and always made sure I had everything I needed. I was so impressed with the level of care I received and I feel lucky to have been in such capable hands. The entire staff at this clinic is truly exceptional and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of medical care. Thank you for making a difficult experience so much better.

May 2023 I had eye surgery in the procedure room at this hospital. I want to thank medical team and office support team for the wonderful care. I was very impressed with the organized system the patients moved through to get the procedure and then released. The nurses took an interest in my condition and were so kind and caring. Thank you so much for my care and the work you do and your contribution to my health

Absolutely amazing experience in the ER. My son, who is 6, had a broken arm yesterday and the treatment and love he received from the staff, including Dr. Green and all the nurses and staff left me amazed. They were kind, professional and they took as good care of him as one could ever hope. I’m honestly almost moved to tears. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart

I had an exam/surgery at the Mount Saint Joseph Hospital yesterday, May 15 2023. My exam was the first of the day, and the staff at the Surgical Day care is fantastic! Dr. Henry Tran, Mo, Winnie, Mary, the anesthesiologist and so many others sorry I forgot the other names were so kind! I was nervous and they made the whole process very comfortable and I felt very supported. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness.

I was in June 12th for day surgery. I was amazed at the quality of care I received in the 5 hours I spent in their hands. Being apprehensive and anesthetized in tandem left me feeling vulnerable. Each individual I encountered from intake, pre-op to operating room, post-op and discharge were absolutely genuine in their concern and compassion while guiding me through the process. Hats off to the staff in the day surgery section. You went above and beyond for one person of many I am sure that you see each day.

The staff at St Joseph's Hospital are top class. My experience right from admittance to leaving the hospital was, from my perspective, completely flawless. The clerical staff who admitted me, the numerous nurses and surgical staff who spoke to me and assisted in my procedure were all absolute professionals. Thank you all for giving me a really comfortable experience

My mom’s care team nurse Miriam &Tessy, lead nurse Heunsook on 4th floor East Geriatric are very friendly and professional. Together they provide my mom with the best health care possible. I would also like to shout out to the Nurse practitioner, Jennifer Lehoux, she has been extremely helpful and always go above and beyond by making sure my mom is comfortable, always try her best to answer every single questions my mom may have before and after the nerve block injection. My mom’s other care team staff like Dr. Wan, PT- Preeya and OT- Jeff, and the Nurse Aid are also very professional and friendly. I am truly impressed by the kind and caring staff on the 4th floor east wing. Thank you!

I don’t recommend the ER here if you have any sort of actual emergency. They currently have an OUTSIDE waiting room. And they just toss you out here to wait with no one to help if something happens to the emergency room patients * EMERGENCY*. You have to walk up a hill and around a few obstacles to get to the waiting tent. So you have to walk really far everytime they call you in and out. Today while I was waiting an elderly woman tried to stand and fell over. Hitting her head on the cement and gashing her arm on the wheelchair I’m sitting in. She hit another woman on the way down and the other woman and I had to get up to help her despite being emergency room patients ourselves. No one seemed at all bothered that this poor woman had hit her head and was now bleeding. They too their sweet time to see her and then they were snarky to me when I asked if she was okay

Terrible hospital. My grandma was in this hospital for COVID pneumonia from February to March. Since she was only visiting Canada, she purchased travel insurance thank goodness she did. Once we received the bill for her stay, we submitted it to her travel insurance company and they wrote the check in April in USD since they are based in America. This hospital failed to cash the check until June, which by then the exchange rate has changed significantly so there is still an outstanding balance of $2500. This hospital is now demanding the payment of the difference even though they waited until exchange rates were different to cash the check. This is completely a mistake of their own yet they will find every way to blame it on the patients. Certain hospital staff were also not too polite when we asked about my grandma's condition and her numbers BP, Blood oxygen, etc

My mom and I are sooo impressed with the Medical Team at St Joseph's. They made my mom feel very comfortable before going into Surgery for her 4th Cornea Transplant. It was so nice they even gave her a mild sedative to relax her as she has this Surgery a few times now. They really care for their Patients. Love this Hospital.
