This family operated and locally owned company offers a wide selection of hot tubs, saunas, & specialty BBQ grills and products. In addition we are widely known in the area as experts in pool and spa equipment and water care. From Ausin at sales, Mike on installation, & Tyler the owner, there wasn't a bad experience. These guys are top notch. I didn't know jack about buying a hot tub & it showed. Six months in & everything is absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend. Didn't try to upsell me or put me into something I didn't need or want. Five stars doesn't seem like enough!!!!
Tyler and crew at Mountain Mist are the epitome of customer service. From purchase to installation and beyond, their support and expertise have been top notch. Tyler did a great job answering all my questions as a new hot tub owner. He is incredibly knowledgeable in this industry, especially in an industry full of not so honest people. I have recommended them to all our friends and they will certainly have lifelong customers in us. Thank you!
Very competitive price and reasonable availability for moving a hot tub from one address to another. Very easy to work with, the movers were very polite and timely. I would be happy to use it again or recommend them to others.
I’ve worked with about every spa service company in the area, and Mountain Mist is BY FAR the best! These guys are honest, knowledgeable and aren’t trying to sell you a bunch of expensive services you don’t need. My spa suffered extensive freeze damage !!! and after having several companies out to assess, Mr. Pool told me the spa would need to be tipped on its side so all of the damage could be repaired from underneath. But they can’t tip it themselves, for insurance reasons. They recommended Alpine Hot Tub Moving, who quoted me a “discount” price of $450- for each of two visits tip/tip back! Luckily, I stumbled upon Mountain Mist, to see about them tipping it. Their service manager Mike questioned if my spa really *needed* to be tipped and if it did, told me it would be a $150 charge- which he thought was high!. Fast forward, Mountain Mist had their guy out Shawn: a truly top-notch, get-er-done kind of guy and he fixed all the known damage PLUS some newfound damage, all for WAY WAY less than my Mr. Pool quote. And w/o the tipping!. I’ve owned my spa for over 10 years and I’ve floundered trying to find a service company I can trust. With Mountain Mist, my search is finally over. Can’t recommend them highly enough!!!
Great company to work with! We love the service and attention to detail that mountain mist pool & spa provides. It is fantastic to deal with the amazing staff and especially the owner of the company when we were feeling a little nervous with buying our first hot tub. We have owned our hot tub just short of a year now, and couldn’t be happier with the customer service and experience we had with mountain mist. Thank you
In 2020 I purchased a hot tub from Mountain Mist. The customer service was great during the sales process, but in my opinion it's nonexistent now. In my opinion it's all empty promises and ignoring issues. Shortly after the delivery they promised that they would come back and properly screw in a panel after I removed it to try to find an owners manual and they also promised they would order me a new owners manual. They never showed up to help me with the panel and I was never given a new owners manual. However, there's more. Instead of going with a typical rack for the cover, I went with a low profile set of pivoting racks. The issue with this is the panel for the hot tub is flimsy plastic that is extremely thin. If a rack is screwed into it, the panel can't hold much weight. In fact within a few weeks of getting the hot tub, the weight of the cover caused the plastic panel to shatter in pieces. In my opinion they should have never installed that rack into the side panel. As a temporary measure, I used brown caulk to glue the panel back together. I asked Mountain Mist if they could replace the panel for free as I don't believe they should have screwed the rack into the panel. I've sent them 3 emails since September and can't get an answer from them. I'm a reasonable person and all I want is an answer. If they would respond and tell me that they won't do it for free, but will install it for a certain price, that would have been fine. All I want is an answer to my question. However, they seem to be ignoring me. If Mountain Mist replies to this, please let me know where I can get warranty work done as opposed to going through you if I have any warranty issues in the future. For example if you could give me the manufacturers contact information that would be great. I can't figure this out from the manufacturer as there doesn't seem to be any contact information on the Vita Spa web site. Thanks.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I'm a new tub owner and Tyler took the time to walk me through a number of things so I can keep my tub maintained in tip-top shape and he discussed in detail the water chemistry maintenance. I was also able to bring in a water sample to test so I can get the chemistry correct once I get my tub filled. I was pleased with their customer service and overall welcoming atmosphere.
We have been working with Tyler to build a custom sauna in our garage. He's been really helpful fielding our questions and helping us get exactly what we're looking for while also helping us stay in our budget. Great customer service.
I purchased a sauna set up through Mountain Mist and was extremely happy with the entire process. There were initially some complications with the installation in my house, but Tyler and his crews were incredibly accommodating and professional. They ensured the final product was a perfect fit and their installation was flawless.
Manager was totally unprofessional, called me just now in a hissy fit about a $500 deposit I'd put down they kept it on a sauna I'd wanted to buy literally a year ago and never received. It's the covid-era and there were some reasonable delays both on their end and from mine for a few months their whole warehouse apparently caught the 'Vid like twice, and I had a newborn I didn't want exposed to it... but it took them a whole YEAR to get back to me and now the manager childishly demands that I buy their sauna...? Sorry Tyler, ain't gonna happen. Hang up on me if it makes you feel better I guess.
