The Mountain View Fire Department provides fire and medical protection to the citizens and visitors of the Mountain View community.
Mountain View Fire Department is a part paid and part volunteer fire department in the Foothills of North Carolina. We currently have two full time positions, those being the Chief and a Driver/Operator. We also have three part time Driver/Operators and 22 volunteers on the roster. We average 400 calls for service a year consisting of fire, rescue, and medical assistance.
