We do this by viewing our patient’s care as a partnership, creating individualized care plans, and walking alongside our patients on their health journey. What started as a single provider office has now grown to a care staff of nine medical providers; including three doctors of osteopath, four family nurse practitioners, and two physician assistants. We followed Dr. Benjamin Burton to this clinic two of my sons have been in his care. As a physician, Dr. Burton is a 10 star care provider. He is kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and entirely patient centered. We are so grateful to have him on our team for our complex kids. The clinic loses a couple of stars for the environment that is overstimulating. They have pop music that is running constantly, and the fluorescent lights are incredibly bright. Even in individual rooms, there is no way to turn the light down, only off. People like my kids who have serious sensory disorders, need it to be possible for the staff to turn the music and lights down. It is extremely difficult for them to process discussion with staff or a doctor when it is too bright and too loud. I think it is reasonable, in 2023, to expect a medical clinic to be able to accommodate these fairly basic sensory needs.
It’s a very sick sad country we live in when there’s dozens clinics and hospitals all within less than a literal mile walking distance. And none take my fully covered OHP plan. Actually no one in this whole town does. Unfortunate. I thought these places were to make people better. They don’t care they just want the biggest dollar they can get out of you
I like Dr. Tom but I have been on hold for 20 minutes and am still on hold to check why my prescription refill has veen delayed for a week. They also won't help woth any of the symptoms related to myalgicencephalomyelitis. They just want to hand out referrals and do no actual work. My doc won't do my annual exams or anything.
All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with PA Michaela Sanchez who provided outstanding care. I would recommend this location to anyone in the surrounding area.
Cassandra Evanetich is one of the most caring people I have come to meet. Not only does she provide wonderful medical care, she makes every visit a new page in what I hope will be a long journey together. From the moment she walks into the room you can feel her compassion and when she gets into the visit it is NOT just a "here do this, take this, next patient" circus but a Q&A over the good, the bad, and the ugly; and she REALLY wants to know. She remembers her patients and their needs. Best of all if something is new to her she won't hesitate to let you know that you're going to learn together. I have looked for this kind of doctor care for my entire life, and having it now means a fuller, happier, more productive life for me, and a forever patient greatful to call her my Primary Care Physician.
My close friend is an established patient here. They wouldn't him me for his appointment recently because he was late. He was on the phone and waited over ten minutes just to go from caller number four to caller three waiting for someone to pick up. They had to reschedule him because of that, even though he couldn't get through for over 14 minutes of drive time. Even when he said he had been waiting after arriving, their response was, "Sorry that's the policy if you're more than 7 minutes late." He was going for an urgent matter and shouldn't have had to reschedule.
I was ten minutes late to my appointment because I thought my appointment was at 9:30am instead 9:20. They starved me for 12 hours and kicked me out. They told I needed to starve myself 4 hours before I needed to start. I was so hungry after they kicked me out. The lady at the desk announce that I was late to everyone in the waiting room. This is what happens to women is society though. There symptoms are not taken seriously because I was there to get an important test for my health. I was kicked out. My doctor will have more than enough time on her hands now that I’m not her patient anymore. This clinic does not care about their patients at all. How am I suppose to trust them when they do this to me? I have disabilities that sometimes I get a little confused on the times. I found a new doctor and hopefully they will treat me better. I wish I could give it zero stars to be honest.
Can not say enough good things about this practice- everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend to family and friends!
Truly the worst doctors office I’ve ever been to. Refuses to request insurance authorization for meds I need. Told me they sent referrals for other appointments I needed when in reality, the person I saw never closed my chart and the referrals were never sent. I had to call and ask why. And the icing on the cake, it took them 2 full weeks for them to send in a replacement prescription for a medication I need daily when my insurance stopped covering it. 2 full weeks. To replace a medication that allows me to semi function each day. 2 weeks is unacceptable. I’m glad that I chose to pay out of pocket for the original medicine because I wouldn’t have survived otherwise. And to prescribe a patient a new medication without even a consultation? That seems like a great way to make sure it’s not a good option. So glad my insurance has changed through work and I can find a doctor who actually cares, listens, and advocates for me as a patient. If you have any actual health concerns, something bigger than a cold, go literally anywhere else.
When we moved to forest grove at the end of 2020 I decided to find a nearby family practice for my 5 kids since we are always at the doctors for something and we chose mountview medical and got them set up with Cassie Evanetich, PA, And they already love her as do I for them! She is great, very personable, dedicated, knowledgeable, and takes her time, doesn't rush you out, and really checks everything out. We highly recommend her! My kids don't mind going to the doctor anymore and can't wait for their next visit to see her. The phone staff & check in receptionist are great also! Haven't had any problems reaching them or with scheduling.
