They took great care of our pups for a week. We were worried if they would be comfortable, but we were reassured by sending us an email about their well being. Nice crew and we felt very comfortable they were in good hands.
I feel bad writing this review, but I need to warn future families looking to board. Take a tour before committing! We took a chance because of reviews and the location and I was blindsided when we arrived there. The place was very dirty. I was reluctant to leave, but the people there were very friendly and promised to update us which they did. We received a few pictures the first day. It all went south upon pick up. New people were there and what we walked into was a mess. Our dog sat in the corner shaking would not even come to us and there was not an inch of the floor not covered in pee dried and fresh. Their beds could’ve been rung out! The lady taking care of us kept saying “yeah, I saw they peed in there, I just didn’t get around to cleaning it”. Now, this looked like a weeks worth of pee and the beds were soaked and cold to touch. She asked if we wanted to take the beds and we obviously said no. When we went to the front she opened the door without our dogs being leashed which created chaos. *To note: The First Lady was actually very cautious about this which I greatly appreciated!* No one wants to lose their dog on vacation due to lack of care/thought. Luckily, it didn’t come to that, but still it could’ve. When we finally got our dogs outside they each peed for several minutes as if they hadn’t gone in a very long time. It was all very disheartening. Our dogs were stressed and exhausted when we got them home, not to mention our one dog had a cut on her nose, which I assume was from her trying to escape the crate, but no one mentioned anything. I guess the point of this review is not to steer people away, but to paint the picture and say “don’t trust the reviews”. Go check the place out for yourself! It is very cost efficient, but when it comes to your furry friends, you want more than a cheap stay.
We had to board our dogs for the first time, and chose Mountain View Pet Lodge because they were close to home and had great reviews. They let me ask as many questions as I needed, and be as needy as I wanted. Sam and Kona had an awesome time playing in the snow! They were very well taken care of while we were away. Will absolutely be using them again if we need to board the pups!
I couldn't be happier with MVP Lodge and the care they give my girl Cotton. Cotton is a highly anxious, high maintenence, polar bear of a dog she is a Great Pyrenees that I have an undeniable bond with and that has an undeniable bond with me. Krystal and her team are so caring and loving to Cotton despite her odd hang ups. Last year, when I lost my husband unexpectedly, Krystal did everything she could to help me. I am so grateful for having such a loving place to keep my girl when I am gone that even though I moved to Alpharetta, I still bring Cotton here when I need someone to keep her.
Our dog loved it! They are great there, very loving and clean
My dog has stayed there quite a few times when I have had to go outside of the area being disabled I can't drive very far so I can't come back and forth every if it's a whole you know couple of days he stayed there because he's older and they've always taken great care of him and never had a single problem he's always good when I see him never has an issue and they are very delightful people and it may have been there for a while and to some people and may look older but that doesn't mean anything about the inside I've seen a lot of places that look older and can be great on the inside just like this place is and they take good good care of my animal which I'm always you know very inquisitive about and I wouldn't let my animals stay anywhere where I did not know that for sure he was going to be okay and taking care of so they always been delightful and taking care of my boy as best as possible and that's all I can expect from anyone and always giving me Insight while he was there that I needed to know and I have gone back there many times since and we'll continue to
Sweet and caring family run business. They took good care of our pups while we went out of town! We have one 7 year old dog who gets anxiety when we leave her and she doesn't like to eat. The staff was concerned and encouraged her to eat...and she did eat some which is amazing. There are private room options for an affordable price too. Thank you for taking care of our dogs! We will be back :
The owner and Crystal sp?were excellent with my clients cat. She thought is was the best job of trimming nails and not hurting her Brodie in years! The cat is 11 years old so....
I have been boarding my dogs here since 2005. I would not leave him anywhere else. Our lab stayed with them for 12 years before she passed away. They are a family owned business and they love animals. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are wonderful caring people.
