A quick and easy overnight stop off I-10 in Van Horn, TX. Reasonable prices and an appealing location. It's possible to walk under a freeway underpass to Van Horn proper, I had breakfast at a nice cafe there Lindsey's Not a lot in town. Blue Origin is nearby, and I understand this park is popular with their employees.
Simply the best park in van horn. The owners are amazing. Level sites. Really great wifi and clean showers and laundry. Rec room. Truly amazing people and place. Highly recommend even for just a night.Rooms: 5/5
If you're looking for a beautiful, affordable, and friendly RV park, look no further than this amazing spot. Despite its incredible location, the prices at this RV park are surprisingly affordable. You'll get a lot of value for your money here, with spacious sites that are well-maintained and offer plenty of amenities. Whether you're looking for full hookups, Wi-Fi, or laundry facilities, you'll find everything you need here to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. But what really sets this RV park apart is the exceptional service and friendly staff. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and attentive service. The staff are knowledgeable about the area and happy to make recommendations for things to do and see. They're always available to help with any questions or concerns you may have, and they'll go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Overall, I can't recommend this RV park enough. It's a beautiful, affordable, and friendly place to stay that offers everything you need to make your trip a success. Whether you're traveling alone, with friends, or with family, you'll find everything you need here to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The woman who checked us in is lovely. It's clean with many individual full bathrooms with its own toilet, shower dressing area and sink area in a closed and locked area just like at home. The store is being remodeled so no supplies, but there is a gas station with pizza and stuff next door. There's freeway noise, but we'd stay there again. One night stay while traveling was nice.
I’ll start with the only slight negative. The sites are pretty close together. However they are all pull-through, very large 80’?, and all have full hook-ups. All in the same area not like some with the sewer connection 15’ away from the electric or water. I called in after closing time by about 15 minutes. The nice lady at the front answered, advised they had an opening on a Friday and waited about 15 minutes for me to arrive. Even though I had a car in tow, I was only charged based on the size of my RV-24’. $35.00! What a deal. They have free wi-go, cable TV and a nice laundry and bathroom area, with very clean showers. They have some fitness equipment, and are planning on adding a rec area with video games/arcade and pool table, plus a huge TV. I was informed they just got their beer license, and will be adding a small grocery/beer stock at the large office area. I enjoyed it so much, I called to see if I could stay another night although the spots appeared pretty full as was told “no problem”. It is next to I-10, so there is some muffled freeway noise. But it was very mild. Love’s is across the freeway and an Xpress Fuel is walking distance next door easy walking distance. They also have a huge ice area, for all your needs. Although there was an occasional vehicle slowly going through, I only saw 3 people during my two day stay. Very, very quiet. All the spots are dirt, many with tables, and a decent amount of large decorative rocks plus large trees throughout. Each hook-up area has a small light for easy night time connection. Plus it makes evening strolls easy to navigate. Overall a great experience! Did I mention the showers had plenty of hot water?
Nice place for people traveling with horses. They have around 8 12x24 pen stalls with shelter. Also laundry room, full hookups, trash dumpster, bathrooms/showers, a fenced dog park, and is located right next to a truck stop with a small grocery store. Easy access for large rigs right off Hwy 10. Reasonably priced.Service: 5/5
Great place for an overnight stop. There is road noise as it is mere feet from I-20 and a truck stop but it is clean and spacious! Bathrooms/showers, washers and dryers were clean and in working order! If we're in the area again, will stop!Service: 5/5
Dont let the dated sign deter you. We lived our stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer. Management is friendly and helpful. It's reasonably priced and has hot, hot water. Neighbors were friendly. Dog-friendliness: It has a huge dog run!!
We stayed one night on our way through to Arizona. Called ahead to get reservations. The lady I spoke with was very nice and just took my name to hold a spot. The directions she gave took us to a huge construction mess that blocked the entrance to the park. The only other entrance was on the service road which was one-way in the opposite direction so we had no choice but to follow the road which was back to the interstate for 5 miles to the next exit to turn around. With construction ongoing you have to come eastbound on the service road. The site itself was nice with trees, full hookups with lighted pedestal. Park was full that night. They are still remodeling or improving but facilities are nice and in good shape. Dog run has goathead stickers but there is plenty of room to walk the dog. We would stop again. Lindsey's cafe across the road is great for breakfast or dinner. Hole in the wall but great service and food.
This RV park was great, had restrooms, showers & Laundry services! The sweet lady that checked us in was extremely nice !Rooms: 5/5
