We love this park. Lots of space. Big pavilion. But, it could definitely use upgrades. The fun fort structure is very, very old.
Looks like it used to be a beautiful playground. There are multiple areas that need to be fixed, including a spindle on the upper bridge area. A kid could fall through it easily. If your little one is used to the newer playgrounds, you should probably stand at the bottom of the slides a couple times. Most of them are approximately 2.5 feet off the ground at the bottom. It's fenced in, but it does have 2 exits. Just be aware of you have a runner, you can't see both exits at the same time. It wouldn't take much for this park to be spectacular again. Some maintenance, replacing the broken equipment, and some graffiti removal and it could be one of the best in Lancaster county.
My daughter loves this park. It is currently having some sort of reconstruction though, so part of it is taped off, just in case you plan to go there soon. Hopefully it will be fixed and the kids can enjoy it all again!
Great park. The wooden playground is a fantastic place for the kids to roam and explore.
Nice old wood park with some beautiful cedar trees.
Brought my high functioning autistic 9 yr old here today for the first time. Really beautiful wooden playground structure! Great craftsmanship providing a safe fun place to play with so much too do everywhere from slides to climbing! One may even train for American Ninja Warrior here! Love it!
Very clean; well maintained. Large pavilions with ample picnic tables. Huge play area for children. This was my first time there but it will not be my last. It was delightful!
Very clean and well kept. They playground area is great for kids 1 to 5. I think older kids would get a little bored after awhile. Having said that lots of open space to get a pick up soccer game or basketball for older children. Large pavilion area as well. Great place.
Nice park with a basketball court, w tennis courts, plenty of grass, a small and large pavilion which can be rented out for events with water and electric. Nice little playground by the small pavilion and a large wooden playground by the large pavilion. Great for just a walk or for family events
A small park with a big playground! There's not usually a lot of people there, but midday weekends can get somewhat crowded. The design keeps you from seeing the entire playground from one spot, so it takes some effort to keep an eye on your kid the whole time.
