F. Edward Mouton acquired an Associate of Arts Degree from Delgado Community College in New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New Orleans. Edward completed law school at LSU-Law Center. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts, Federal Circuit for the Western District of Louisiana, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Soon after graduating from the LSU-Law Center in 1996, Mr. Mouton began practicing law as an Assistant Public Defender with the Caddo Parish Commission in Shreveport under the direction of Alan J. Golden. As staff attorney to one of the State’s largest public defender’s agencies, Mr. Mouton gained experience in all phases of representation of non-death penalty felonies, misdemeanors and DWIs.
Mr. Mouton opened his solo law practice 16 years ago, providing legal advice, criminal and DWI defense, wills, and trial practice. In his career he has developed a solid reputation as an aggressive defense attorney who puts his clients, their families and their future first.
Edward Mouton has two daughters, Rebecca and Camille.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Mr. Golden obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from LSU-Law Center in 1983. He is admitted to the bars of both Louisiana and Florida the Federal Circuit for the Western District of Louisiana, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Golden retired from the Caddo Parish Public Defender’s Office, where he served as Chief Counsel for eighteen years. Altogether, Mr. Golden has twenty-five years of experience as a trial attorney in major criminal litigation experience, having successfully defended innumerable clients charged with major sex offenses and homicides. He has a passion for exonerating people falsely accused of sex assaults, a serious problem that is becoming prevalent due to an overzealous criminal justice system. Mr. Golden is a frequent lecturer at statewide legal seminars.
Mr. Golden is married to Barbara K. Golden, his wife of 25 years, and has two children, Todd and Laura.
