Excellent local 4 screen theater with updated seating and the best popcorn!! Great prices and great service! You can reserve seats in advance if you want too!
We took our 2 grandsons to see Ninja Turtles. We had the best time..
This place. It's very different from what it once was. I know it's hard to compete with home movies these days but ....ok let me do this review. No food selection. Popcorn and nachos. Even when these guys bought hotdogs from the grocery store....at least they had them. Popcorn is not top notch. Idk how to mess up Popcorn but it's not the same as Tupelo. You have gone too cheap and it lingers in the air. This place looks and feels tired. A+ for trying to hang in there, but it's just sad now. Sound in the theater sounded like an old TV set. Seats were broken..both of them. Drinks taste funnyeven though alot of drink syrups have that "burnt" taste to them so not really your fault. If you dare report anything you'll get this kind of shrug off and nobody else complains about it response. I'm not in this line of work so I really don't know how hard things are in the theater business but the "experience" is no more.
Workers are very friendly and the popcorn is delicious. We sometimes go by just for the popcorn. The theaters are clean and roomy. Sound quality is excellent. Always have a great time when I go there. We'd give them five stars.
Went to see the movie Tom and Jerry with my kids. Paid online and everything was great. Went in got snacks for movie and all is well. Sit down and waited, waited, and waited. Finally an hour later they come and tell us they can't get this one movie to play. If another customer wouldn't have gotten up to ask earlier we would have had no clue what was going on. Someone should have came out earlier and said something. Bad management on the company. They gave us a refund. I will be taking my kids back only because they want to see that movie and I've already paid for them
the worst movies place i’ve even been, it was my first time in there and the workers were really rude when u asked the price of the tickets and popcorn, like i was supposed to know the prices they didn’t let me sit with my friends because we were more then 3 but the whole room to the movie was full of empty sits and he still made us move and sit separately, one of the workers stayed the hole movie in there getting into us for the way we sit even the row in front and in the back was empty and checking the whole time to see if somebody take their phones out of the pocket to say that we couldn’t use the phone and would kick us out even the phone was silent he was really rude for no reason and when we were gonna ask about it he just keep telling us to shut up, plus the movie room is literally plastic chairs on the concrete, is so uncomfortable
Have always had a good time at New Albany's Movie Reel. Good decent movies. A good choice of movies. Fresh popcorn popped instore. Clean theater and restrooms.
My visit to the Movie Reel was okay. After going to the other theaters in Tupelo, I find myself disliking this one more. The movie was fine, but the seating and the whole experience was lacking. The theater that I was in smelt like it had been wet and had a mildew odor. The admission price was within $3-$5 of what I normally pay for a visit to my regular theaters.
It's a small theater, and it doesn't have any bells and whistles, but the prices are great, it's generally not crowded, and the staff is friendly. If you want rocking seats and arcades, then this might not be the place for you, but if you just want to watch a first run movie without breaking the bank, this place is perfect.
Friendly service at a cozy small-town theater. The only issue had was resolved quickly. Would recommend.
