I have never been to the Movie Tavern. My son took me to see my favorite movie Mission Impossible! I had paid for the larger theater and I was so AMAZED . I loved the reclining seats due to my having a walking boot on. And I couldn't believe that they brought food and drinks to our seats . The screen was so hugh. The beer prices were, of course, a lot more expensive as well as the food. But everything was so good. All the staff were friendly and glad to help with whatever you needed. I am DEFINITELY going back. And I can not wait for Part 2 of the movie to come out.
Nice movie theater. Really comfy seats that recline, have little tables, and cup holders. You don't want to end up sitting in the first three or even four rows especially to the side because the picture won't look as good if at all. We've gone with someone once who needed the hearing impaired equipment only to find none of them worked. The food is really good considering it from a movie theater. The food is restaurant priced but not quite restaurant quality. You order your food before the movie then that order will be brought to your seat for your movie watching pleasure. If you want an alcoholic drink which I'd recommend the blackberry whiskey sour then you must order that at the bar, they don't deliver alcohol to the seats for obvious reasons. The drinks are a little over priced as well considering how much ice is in the drink. The staff is very kind and considerate. The theaters have always been clean but their bathrooms are gross.

Very comfortable theaters. The only problem I always have it with the food. Twice I order chicken strips and the literally gave me little round chicken nuggets. Other times I got nice size chicken strips. When I talked to the manager, she tried to say they go by weight, which credits not make since because I got the same amount of pieces. You can tell she didn’t know how to explain.
Favorite movie theater! You won’t find an experience like this anywhere else. The staff is absolutely incredible, they’re always super friendly and help make your trip to the movies feel special/important. This might be weird to throw into a Google review… but their bathrooms are spotless and even smell good! Definitely a strong indication of the business’s commitment to giving their guests a great experience. Also absolutely love the location and atmosphere! Truly one of the best movie theaters I have ever been to.
Love going to Movie Tavern. The seats are huge, so it doesn't feel like you're sitting on top of each other. The food is delicious had a great time there with my family
The two stars are because of quick food delivery and the fact that Sing 2 is playing. But the pretzel bites are weirdly sweet, they’re kind of unpleasant to eat. And the usher who took our tickets acted like he was part of a drug bust and checked our bags and made a big deal out of the one little bag of chips and two small drinks we tried to bring with us because we are both disabled. Maybe if he didn’t completely neglect to check anyone else’s bag, he ONLY checked ours, and he didn’t make such a big deal it would have been a better experience. One bag of baked lays won’t put you out of business with your mid overpriced pretzels, I PROMISE.
This please is great for adults to go reestablish their childhood love of going to the movies! Of course other movie theaters are great to go and enjoy a movie, but this place is a little step up. You can order full meals to eat during your movie experience, as well as a full bar! You can grab a drink at the bar and take it back with you to the theater. Ive been a few times,bm but havent been in a few years. We went to go see the new Barbie movie and we got some delicious drinks to sip on during the film! It was a fun time!
Awesome place! Easily one of the best theatres I’ve ever been to. However, the price gouging and monopolistic practices of todays movie industry are very present. The profit margins on the food and drinks are insane, not to mention the 17$ ticket. Would love to not feel taken advantage of just because someone can claim ‘market value’.
All is well that ends well! The Bad: It wasn't crowded when my family and I went to the Movie Tavern but somehow our food order was overlooked and after several trips back to the concession area we finally received our order approximately 10-15 minutes before the movie ended. The Good: The manager I wish I had his name, we'll call him Mr. Nice Guy refunded the purchase price for the entire order. Overall, the theater was clean and comfortable, and the food once received was enjoyable. Mr. Nice Guy saved the day.
