The Grand Experience offers the best of Michigan's Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island to residents ages 50+ at discounted rates.
Founded in 1967, the Grand Experience is a partnership between mParks (the Michigan Recreation and Park Association), local park & recreation departments, and Grand Hotel.
The program provides all-inclusive travel packages for individuals ages 50 and better. Grand Experience travelers are invited to join groups traveling to Mackinac from locations across the state - however independent travelers are welcome to participate in the Grand Experience as well.
The Grand Experience offers the best of Mackinac Island - lodging, meals, and amenities at historic Grand Hotel, plus special activities and events - all at significantly discounted rates.
