Went to bed thinking about donuts and woke up early to stop by. Dellllicious. My husband has already ate 2.
This place is all about the donuts! Delicious, well-crafted and baked donuts. Seasonal flavors with good ingredients. Apple cider donuts and pumpkin Donuts when we visited on this nice crisp August day. You can tell they know what they're doing. Oh and don't miss the really tasty apple fritters and well-executed cinnamon rolls. Not a very large space but enough room to sit down and enjoy your treats. This place is such a great alternative to the other chain places serving pre-frozen, reheated, bland donuts. Go here!
I used to live across the street from Mr. Rick's, before they moved out of the city. Now that they have moved, I've gotten a chance to enjoy Mr. Rick's for more than fresh donuts. Their lunch fare is fresh, affordable, traditional lunch selections. It's a trip out of the city which is worth every penny. I enjoy their turkey on fresh baked rye, with fresh pasta salad
Hands down BEST breakfast English muffin sandwich I have had. Super fluffy, airy homemade English muffin. Also, cinnamon rolls as big as your head! Get here early however, theres a die hard crowd and if you wait too long, it's going to be slim, but oh so delicious pickings for the late risers.
The hubby bought some donuts from Mr. Rick's Bakery this morning. They are pretty good but didn't seem as fresh. I'm ready for apple cider donuts from Burville Cider Mill!
Yesterday was my first time experiencing fresh donuts from Mr. Rick's and they were outstanding.... Great product, great staff, and amazing service!
Cheesecake was delicious, Chocolate creme pie was good; however it could of used more chocolate filling. Apple pie, not great...under cooked.
