Forming a Muslim community in MLK Campus and to educate others about Islam.
Muslims Student Association (MSA) was originally founded in January 1963, first established in University of Illinois dedicated to diverse Muslim students across the United States. MSA's main goal is to reach out to the Muslim and Non-Muslim youth of today. Founded by Shahriar Hossain and Jiniya Azad and by the will of Allah, Martin Luther King Campus (MLK campus) has launched its own branch in NYC on December 6th, 2011. We hope to see you in our next MSA meeting, InshAllah.
Our mission is to spread the word of Islam and educate as many Muslim and Non- Muslim students as possible, and cast aside any wrong notion of Muslims portrayed by the media. Also, to make our MSA environment comfortable and respectful. No bashing is tolerated.
