MSU Union Spartan Lanes

At first when I went bowling at Spartan Lanes I didn't have any issues. i picked my balls I wanted and I bowled. But I recently became an avid bowler and there's a couple of things I've noticed that would not allow me to recommend this bowling alley. First of the balls have not been treated. There are nicks and scratches all over the balls. I don't care too much about that as I'm not going to expect them to maintain the bowling balls even though I've seen other bowling alleys maintain there balls. What disappointed me the most is that there was absolutely no oil on the lanes!! I mean when I would hook the ball, it would go straight to the gutter. You would definitely have to adjust to the lane in order to not gutter. So I would only recommend going to Spartan Lanes if you're not a serious bowler. Because then you wouldn't understand the issues there.

I’m sure MSU charges their students enough to build a new bowling alley. Haha this place is a joke! However, the staff is cool and they deserve a couple stars.

Everytime I went it was so full and we had to wait 30min for a lane to open up. But that was on free nights
