The Applied Human Nutrition Program at Mount Saint Vincent University offers degree options at the undergraduate and graduate level. The Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition offers a major in nutrition and a major in dietetics. A major in dietetics requires a dietetic internship. Those students wishing to pursue a Masters in the field of nutrition can choose either a Master of Science in Applied Human Nutrition (thesis) or a Master of Applied Human Nutrition (non-thesis). A degree in Human Nutrition opens students to career opportunities in the field of nutrition and the professional practice of dietetics.
