Our director, Joseph Hubbard, has been with the cemetery since January 1, 1992.
He has been instrumental in the erection of the Peace Chapel, Mausoleum and Columbarium along with the development of several new burial sections.
Mt Carmel Catholic Cemetery is here to serve the families of faith in Belleville, Illinois, and the Metro-East area. These blessed and sacred grounds, established in 1891, exist as a sign of our faith that we will all one day pass this threshold to life eternal.
We reach out to those in need at their hour of need and provide charity burials when necessary. We remember in prayer, those deceased and those who mourn at a monthly Mass in the Peace Chapel. We operate and maintain these grounds with dignity and reverence.
