They do NOT care about your loved ones! I’ve been visiting my in laws for years and we ALWAYS have to dig out their headstones because it’s covered in dirt and grass. They don’t care to clean up the area like they claim they do when you’re putting your loved ones TO rest. They make it look great during the ceremony and then they could care less after they take your money. I am HIGHLY disappointed. They clean the middle of the field and let the others get grown over. When you talk to them about it they act like it’s not a big deal. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
Beautiful place to pay my respects to family members buried here. Some of San Diego’s founders are resting here like founder of Modern San Diego , Alonso Horton. And Elisha Babcock, the founder of The Hotel Del Coronado.
Nice place except it always dirty So much trash on the edge on 36 street It is unbelievable how much trash is on that side of the cemetery all over the side walk and inside the cemetery
My youngest daughter, resting place is at Mt Hope,All of my daughter items was completely remove even the angel statue, when I question the staff I was told three different liesWow we now steal from the death.
Business hours are good. Staff drive with care and respect the graves. Everyone is polite, respectful and go out of their way to answer all my questions. Security are always doing their best. My brothers grass and surrounding areas are always well maintained. My brother Isidro Caro, was layed to rest in 1998 he was only 19 years old. Mt. Hope has always been clean and a peaceful place to visit your love one.
My boyfriend is buried here it's a really really nice peaceful place he's in the garden of Hope I think it's the most beautiful thing in the world because I know they're still hope thank you guys for making my boyfriend at peace
Mount Hope Cemetery is operated by the City of San Diego. This cemetery offers beautiful views set in a very tranquil tree lined atmosphere. This historic cemetery holds the remains of our city's dearly departed. Mount Hope has very affordable prices, with an exceptionally caring staff that understands the sorrow and stresses of a family members loss.
Big cemetery easy access to freeways
The beauty. They keep it clean as they can, very respectful. Amazing to walk through. Peaceful and authentic.
Spoke to a woman named Lakeisha to get some information on pricing, not only was she rude but she did not offer her condolences and referred to my family member as the " deceased" instead of asking the name or relation to me. JUST A BIT OF ADVICE when someone is calling about a family member who has passed away it is a very sensitive subject...being rude and short with a potential client is not good for business! I will be letting all my friends and family and colleagues know not to use this graveyard.
