Worse school ever .. Most of the para eds are rude and disrespectful sorry saying to students " why don't you work harder you had 20+ mins to finish it " bringing people down and most teachers are nice but some are rude and just plain out mean some grade lbgtq kids form what I heard from gay/other students they grade them fs even if it's supposed to be an A I wouldn't recommend going to this school if I could give a zero star I would
Not a great school. My child has been in attendance here for almost a year and I have yet to hear anything positive about either the school, the teachers or the staff. Scheduling for the students was a disaster. My son was signed up for 5 classes initially, instead of 6, two of which he signed paperwork requesting not to be in. This happened two semesters in a row. He was struggling in his classes and at least three of his teachers have denied his requests for help. I thought teachers were paid to teach and make sure the students succeeded. I was wrong. The teachers appear to be there merely for a paycheck. The dress code is lax at best. Mid-drifts on girls, extremely short shorts and skirts and inappropriate pictures on shirts. To top that off the staff doesn't care enough to enforce what little dress code there is. I would absolutely not recommend this school to anyone that cares about their kids education, morals or ethics.
I'm currently going to this school but not for much longer seeing as im moving soon. I hate this school with a fiery passion, a lot of the staff are rude and disrespectful. Don't get me wrong there are some pretty amazing teachers here and some counselors that are awesome, but the junior/senior principal is rude and disrespectful and will barely work with you if you're having a tough time, some of the teachers are just jerks and won't work with you if you're having a bad day. It overall is a horrible school, to any parents that are thinking about sending your kid here DON'T. They will not like it that much, a lot of the kids that do go here that i know don't like this school at all. So don't send your kids to this sorry excuse for a school
My son went there for a year. It's a decent public school. Two of his six teachers were good. However, supervision was lax - he told me that he could skip class about ten times and maybe we'd get a phone call once.
All the classes are great, most of the teachers are great, yes there are some exceptions to both of these, but overall it's hard to find a better school. P.S. we're better than Mead
Tha absolute rudest front desk woman inthe firsrt office you walk in. If you dont like your job or your life is that pathetic quit. Im pulling my daughter out of that school TOMORROW. And when asked to talk to the principal, their was no one too be found.
As a student who has attended 2 Mead schools this is the best school in the district and in my mind the best in the city, good sports teams, great councilors, amazing teachers that want nothing more for you to succeed, if your a parent and your thinking of sending your kid to mt Spokane I would say you definitely should, my spokane is definitely the best in the west
Worst school ever -- Does not offer any Computer Science classes although it claims to be one of the 'top' schools in Washington state.
I went to orchestra there Mr Emery is awesome
Love the staff and most of the students.
