Plenty of parking to choose from. Service was fast and easy. Food came out quick. Ground beef taco was greasy. Flour tortillas are decent. Salsa isn’t spicy. Queso and chips were good. Well, the queso was, the chips tasted burnt. They have a DJ there during the weekends.Recommended dishesQuesadilla
I hope you speak Spanish of you're coming here the place is kinda huge homemade salsas were picas!! Vegetarian options: poblano pepper is delicious
Not worth the stop... They charge $3 for breakfast tacos, with no cheese no beans, i asked for potatoes in it, it was an extra $1, no problem... I get to work and I see they barely put anything... I'm so upset.. I'll never go back here... You won today but you lost future business... Get a better cook. This was today Saturday at 530am.
Wow! I've grown up in Houston all my life and never went to this old school restaurant before.. The charro beans were amazing, the Mexican rice was delicious and everything else was just awesome... The only lack luster were Fajitas, they had no flavor at all.. a fair amount of salt and pepper would have helped them..I think if you ask ahead of time, you can get that adjusted before they cook them; other than that the place is great.. they have great lunch specials, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays I believe... The wait staff are a great bunch of girls that pleasantly take care of you.. I will definitely come back and try more dishes!
Nasty horrible plain food. I order two plates of food customized. Just the way you see it on the picture. I ended up paying $35.00 for this they said it was a “parrillada”. And to add on tap of that, the taste of the food is disgusting, no flavor, burnt, and cold. Customer service is horrible they took about 20 minutes to bring this? Never checked on me, to see if everything was alright, for that kind of price I recommend to you to go somewhere else. That $35.00 would’ve got me a really good parrillada. Full of food, not this disgusting food.
When you walk in the place smells like sewage. The waitress is not attentive at all. We ordered the Mucho Duo dip appetizer and quickly ran out of chips. She took so long to get more chips that the queso got cold. We then ordered a large shrimp cocktail. It seemed more like a small. We never saw the waitress again until she brought the check. The shrimp cocktail did not have Valentina or saltine crackers. I would not recommend dining here.
This used to be a family favorite years ago. I used to come here often as a child with my family. That saying “time changes things” is so true. The food was mediocre and the waitresses acted like they’d rather be somewhere else. I do not think we would have been here so often if it was like this when I was a child. I wish I would have left my memories of this place as they were. This was my last time eating here
This place is excellent! The food is homemade Mexican and is some of the best I have had. They even give you free cheese to dip your chips in!! The staff was amazing, you might brush up on your Spanish because it's that authentic you will need to communicate in that language.
It's okay. Prices can be better and not too much of a selection but it'll do the job.Food: 4/5
Got to be the absolute worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too. The rice cold. Beans warm at best. The Mexican trio was just trash. The quesadilla was wet and soggy. The flour taco was broken crunchy and falling apart. Barely any meat inside the taco, and the enchilada was just all spice, and no flavor. Very terrible. I left without paying. Will never return.
