Muckalee Creek is a creek in southwest Georgia . It originates southeast of Buena Vista and flows south-southeast for and into Kinchafoonee Creek north of Albany, just upstream of that creek's confluence with the Flint River. It is also the subject of a country song by Luke Bryan Titled " Muckalee Creek Water".

This Creek is long and wide in alots of spots. One can fish swim and float in this Creek, because it has plenty of water in it.Somerimws I just sit by the bank in the winter on the fact that it's too cold to swim in the winter time.

Exciting place to kayak! My company does tours for chehaw out there, and i know that creek in and out. Pretty straight path, but if you turn off somewhere, you better know the way you came because it is easy to get lost. Game wardens rarely patrol the creek so if your lost, you better hope you have a phone. There are some swimming spots but not alot. Watch out for hornet nests and snakes as there are alot of nests and the snakes are there too.

Instagram #thafishcampatmuckaleehilton.... for the most part this creek is untamed with docks and heavy boat traffic. See the creek the way the Indians did. Perfect places for fishing, swimming, wading , camping and kayaking/tubing. Good habitat for the Shoal Bass a species of bass exclusive to the Southeast United States. Fished all up and down muckalee creek from americus to just above Albany as a kid.  What wonderful memories this brought back to me. Living in north ga now, and this area can’t hold a candle to that area of south ga.

If you haven't fisher the Muckalee, you haven't lived..The wildlife is amazing...
