Muddy Waters offers an American menu with a variety of items to enjoy from appetizers to lunch, dinner and desserts. Completely original, all items are made from fresh ingredients and Patti’s quote would be that “It’s all made from scratch.” Weekend fares include fresh seafood and luscious prime rib, the BBQ ribs and salmon are smoked on site. A complete and innovative menu includes the basics, but offers an ingenious array of regular items and Patti’s signature dishes.

This place is deceiving from the front. Walk inside and it's a really cool vibe; step outside on their back patio, and it's pretty shocking at how massive and beautiful it is!! Multiple tiers of outdoor deck seating with amazing views of the river. Bands play outside which gives it even better atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and friendly, food is absolutely amazing! In their outdoor area, they grow their own herbs for their food and drinks. They make an excellent mojito, multiple different flavor options, and of course original too. This is a stop we make every time either on the way to, or the way home from Treasure Island casino. If you're not from Wisconsin, don't forget to stop around the corner at the liquor store and grab some Spotted Cow before you leave ;
Raining, so couldn't sit outside sadly, but had a great meal inside. Wonderful service. All food was great. Curds homemade ranch and hot marinara, both awesome reuben, sw coleslaw, Cajun burger, fries, and kids' corn dog. Kids still saw a couple of trains from our table in the back. Glad we chose this as our Prescott lunch stop. Oh, and a cute bathroom!
Doesn't look like much from the street but a nice surprise upon entering. We sat out back on a covered deck overlooking a private band playing a floor below. Drinks good and meals tasty, I'm giving muddy Watters a thumbs up and 5 stars for making a small town restaurant- bar so interesting.
Busy place! Nice patio overlooking the river. We started off with wings, which were breaded~highly recommend getting the sauce on the side. For my main I had the French dip and it was so dang delicious! Definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Stopped in for lunch and we weren't disappointed. Staff were all friendly and accomidati ng. Lovely view and plenty of outdoor seating if that's your preference, it was just a little too hot for us.
The location and view are pretty nice, but the food took a very long time to arrive on our last visit. The Korean ribs didn't taste Korean to me. One of my dining companions said his steak was tough. On the plus side, my sisters parmesan fish looked good and she enjoyed it. The cheese curds were good as well. I would go again but I wasn't in love with the place. For $105 pre-tip for one appetizer, 3 dinners and no alcohol... I was somewhat underwhelmed.
I used to come here fairly often years ago and always thought the food was pretty good for a good price. After tonight I was left feeling disappointed. The atmosphere is still warm and inviting but the prices seemed to be quite high compared to what the food quality was, my side salad was the highlight of the night. I ordered the honey glazed salmon, which wasn’t horrible but was quite bland. It came with cooked red potatoes that were served cold, which were the same as another dinner companions. Other dinner companions ordered a pork chop, ribs and Cajun shrimp pasta. None of us were very impressed by the flavor of our dinners and the Cajun shrimp pasta actually tasted like garlic pasta. We had a birthday celebration and that was made clear to our server who made zero acknowledgment of that. She also didn’t seem to be very interested in anything much in regards to our table or any surrounding ones. She even took away one of our plates of appetizers that we were still eating from! Overall, I’d say that most things were fine but for a higher dollar tab the lack of the flavor in the food as the service left a lot to be desired. I’d still return but I wouldn’t put it as high as I used to for a dining experience.
This isn't just another bar and grill. We sat outside on the upper patio and listened to the music as we ate. The food was delicious. Good menu, NOT just your everyday bar food. Parking: You can park on the river side of Muddy Waters and go up the ramp to enter. Also, on street parking, entrance in front.
Love the view of the river from our table, the staff was very friendly. Husband had steak special, I had french dip sandwich, both were excellent. Ordered cheese curds which came with two of their special dipping sauces a creamy garlic and a tomato basil also very good. Waitress brought us a sample of their spicy coleslaw, we both loved it. Would highly recommend this place if you want food worth your money!
Cool place. Good patio vibe on the river. Their special was a prime rib open face sandwich. It was literally a whole piece of prime rib on toast. It was smoked, too. It was delicious! I really liked the Asian cabbage slaw, awesome dressing really good. Our waitress was super sweet. Can't wait to go back.
