Dog swim days on thursdays!! Clean restrooms and plenty of fun dogs to play with. My guys had a blast, we will be back for sure. Plenty of room for the dogs to run, gazebos for shade and an area to grill if you wanted to share dinner with 20 dogs!!
We didn't realize the entrance off of highway 91 only led to a couple of trails. One being a quarter of a mile and the other a healthy 2 mile trek. We've been used to the Goodyear Metro Park where all the trails are shaded by trees. So when me, the 73 year old got to the point where we were in a long piece of open area, I managed to get to the half way point and had enough. Thanks to the Park Rangers and my wife the Park Ranger arrived at my location and gave me a ride back to the car and saved the day.
Awesome park with beautiful trails and lots of facilities - shelters, restrooms, volleyball courts etc. The trail options are flat as well as some that are hilly and have plenty of birds and wildlife to look out for. They host great events like the recent Native Plant festival. Can’t wait to explore this park more in the future!
I visit Munroe Falls Metro Park several times a week. I take my grandson fishing, and then he likes to play on the playground. The lake is absolutely beautiful and also allows access to kayaks and canoes. Playground: 2 playgrounds. 1 on each side of the lake. Restrooms: Several restrooms. The main restroom has several stalls and sinks and is very clean. Dog-friendliness: Thursdays is dog friendly where an area of the lake is enclosed and dogs can be let off leash and swim in the water. Picnic area: 2 or 3 shelters and many picnic tables and grills throughout the park.
The park is breathtaking! It's so clean. You can see to the bottom of the lake. The playground and restrooms are well taken care of. It's a dog friendly park as well and they can swim on Thursday's.
Perfect to take your young ones to hike explore and play on the park playgrounds....fishing as well perfect for the family I highly recommend
This is one of my all time favorite places to hike. The trail here is absolutely gorgeous in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. It is lengthy, but not difficult. The park itself is great for cook-outs, popping up a hammock by the water, picnics, fishing, great for dogs as well!
Ate at the picnic benches by the lake and walked Indian Springs Trail with my family & dogs. Just be careful with footing due to roots & rocks on the trail. Indian Springs Trail: 2.2 miles: moderate
Amazing scenery! Beautiful lake with a playground for your kids while you relax. I only go there to fish and man they have giants. I love to go there to just let loose!
