Crater of Diamonds State Park is the only diamond mine in the world where the public can search and keep what they find. The mine turns out about 1000 diamonds a year to excited tourists and seasoned park regulars alike. According to the estimates by the Arkansas Geological Survey, it will continue to do so for nearly 500 years.
