I walk here alone and with the grandkids. It is lovely. The water Lillie’s each year and the swans are a sweet addition. You will see lots of other wildlife. You can walk around the pond - 3 times = 1mile or around the swamp. The playground needs some shade though and an update.
This park is a happy place. There is a nice paved path around the pond and a clearly marked trail around the swamp. It's very quiet and full of wildlife. The town, scouts, and other volunteers transformed this area from an impossible swamp to a nice hike and it keeps growing with more to see.
Beautiful park to do laps on the paths they have. Wild life everywhere! I actually got to see a mama bear and it's cubs sleeping in a tree! Park ranger came I a heart beat and all stayed safe. Great place to have a picnic as well, They have a BBQ Grill! Playground: Great place that's fenced in for the kids. Dog-friendliness: Pupsters walking humans Picnic area: Multiple benches and tables to choose from
This Park is a really nice place to go it has a playground for children at least for children that are 4 or 5 years old. I wouldn't recommend you go there with a child that is younger than fourbecause there isn't going to be a lot of stuff for them to do there. there is also a Lake that you can fish in if you're interested in fishing. There are also several paths in the woods or you can just walk around the Lake. there are also chairs and a couple picnic benches. The picnic benches can be commonly found by the parking lot and there are chairs by the lake by the trails. Overall it's an amazing park.
The pond has a fountain, many geese, lilies and other water plants. Chairs litter around the pond which is adjacent to woods. There is also a playground for children. A lot of comfortable hiking trails in the woods. Dog friendly.
For what appeared to be a small park with a lake and playground, let me tell you, it was far more than that! If you choose to venture off the asphalt path and into the dirt trail, you will find several unmarked paths you can take that lead you by a private road along Crystal & Mountain Avenue. I love nature and I just kept walking until I became lost literally and spiritually! I eventually found my way back onto Diamond Springs Road from the private road. I briefly walked onto a homeowner's driveway that looked like a trail park and was unmarked without a mailbox, so then I turned around and went back down the road until I got to Diamond Springs. This led me back to the parking lot. Denville has many gems if you choose to explore nature's side of it all. I'll certainly be back for another adventure:-
This was a small park, there’s a small playground, lake, bridge and a short walking trail. We took the kids here and they had a good time.
My daughter and I love hiking through the trails! Lots of sights to see! About a mile each time we go.
Beautiful place,very clean park
Cute little spot for an outdoor experience! But we could never for the life of us find the hidden geocache...!
