Thomas B. Murphy served as a state representative from 1961-2002, and Speaker of the House from 1973-2002, overseeing passage of many of the laws benefiting us today. In 1998, Michael L. Murphy became a Superior Court Judge. Stephen E. Garner joined the firm in 1983, and served on the Georgia State Board of Workers Compensation Advisory Council from 1988-2013 helping draft many of our Workers Compensation laws. In 2000, Stephen E. Garner started Peace Like A River Mediation Services, and in 2014 he was selected as a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyer.
