I can't say that I've had many pleasant experiences at gas stations, but this one surely was. Although they were busy, they still had time to help me quickly wipe up a spill from my icee with a smile.
No longer accept WalMart gift cards. Combined with how difficult it is to get in and out of, I won't be coming back anymore. It used to be the o ly place I'd buy fuel, but that's over.
This place has really gone down hill lately. It's kind of dissapointing because they do normally have the lowest prices around plus the Murphys Drive rewards program. I come here almost every time I get gas locally. It's never just horrible and they are pretty good about having the windshield wash station usable and the trash low, but to say it kindly it is a much better experience without interacting with grumpy employees. Also, the bathrooms are always a mess. If they had another Murphy's closer, I wouldn't even go here.
It's really hard to justify a higher rating. The remodel of this station was necessary. Although, it is my opinion that the planning and execution of the remodel were way below sufficient to be considered effective. It seems that, to an average person such as myself, much of the problems as a result of the remodel could have been greatly reduced by simply turning the structure 90⁰. Of course, that would mean that the thru traffic would be cut off at that point. Though most traffic going through that area is usually trying to fuel up anyway. It would have also achieved reasonably safe parking for patrons to approach and enter the new convenience store. Aside from the remodel issues: the staff are always pleasant and helpful. I do enjoy the new concessions inside. Well worth a drop-in. Just be careful so as not to get run over trying to do so.

There is not enough room at the fuel islands. Congested and people will back in and block you from being able to leave.
Rude employees. And the gas set up is terrible! I won’t go back. I’d rather spend $1.00 more for a gallon then to deal with their employees.
This place is really hard to get into if you are coming off of HWY 45S. I know theirs other ways to get in there but dang. Plus try having all the pumps opened up when someone comes by to fill up.
I usually do not have problems at this gas station but today I did. I pull up to the pump to get gas, and a car is there half way at the gas pump, i thought someone was in the bathroom, so I said to myself I will just wait and go ahead and pay for my gas. I asked the cashier was some one waiting to get gas before I paid, Brenda Ann said no, so I used my debit card. I pulled my car up and back so I could try to get gas,. Finally when I got the car where I could get gas the pump had timed out, so i knocked on the window and she raised her finger and said just a minute, I had to pay for my gas again, and she said that the other 20$ went back on my card, which can take 3 to 5 days. I asked again who car was that, then she said it was my manager who was sitting in the back in a chair!!!! She said that she would move it in a minute. I had already figured out how to pump my gas, by squeezing between my car and the gas pump, getting my clothes dirty. Then she brought her big body out and moved by then I was on the phone with customer service, I was there 20 minutes because the manager did not want to walk 12 steps to get inside the store. She did not even apologize. I spent 40 dollars on gas today, just because the manager was lazy.
The cashier yesterday was smoking right outside the entrance door. There were customers waiting to pay so the cashier put her cigarette on the side of the entrance door still lit up. Like seriously, what kind of employee has the right mind to do that. She could have waited to take a break to have a cigarette.
