MARDI GRAS 10K Run / 5K FUN RUN – WALK
SUNDAY MAY 27th, MEMORIAL WEEKEND 2018
Get out your running shoes and join us for the Mardi Gras 5K/10K Fun Run & Walk, Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. Memorial Day Weekend. Sponsored by the Live Oak Athletic Boosters, benefiting all sports at Live Oak High School, the Fun Run/Walk attracts approximately 300 runners each year.
The race begins and ends at the Coyote Creek Bike Path, corner of Malaguerra Ave. and Morning Star Dr., in Morgan Hill (take Cochrane Road Exit – East from Hwy 101 approximately 1 mile, turn left on Malaguerra) which provides a flat and fast out-and-back course that is very beautiful this time of year.
Entry fee information is available here, via email and on www.Active.com. Entry fee includes a Mardi Gras souvenir t-shirt while supplies last. A gift will be awarded to the overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K races. Race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m.

For over 22 years, the LOHS Athletic Boosters Club has hosted the Mushroom Mardi Gras 10K Race / 5K Run-Walk. This event supports all the Athletic Programs at Live Oak High School located in Morgan Hill, CA. This affair is one of our primary fundraisers for the year. The majority of our proceeds will go directly towards the Athletes and their teams for items such as safety gear, equipment, respective playing field improvements, and scholarships for our athletes' continued education.
With the funds generated by the fun run, all sports programs at Live Oak High School will have the opportunity to grow and achieve success.
