The immediate racist comments from the two "ladies" behind the counter had me 180 out of that classy establishment. Update after reply from "owner". Nope, definitely this store as I wrote the review in the rear parking lot. If not employees, then perhaps you shouldn't allow loitering racists in your store. And how about mopping the floor every now and then...

I've been a loyal customer for years . if always been treated as if I was familiar and family . I have always been treated with respect and curtiscy . Great store the only thing I don’t like is they closes too early

Large selection for the size of the store. If you need something they don't have, ask. They will get reasonable requests in for you. Pricing is pretty even.

Muskegon family foods is about 5 blocks from my apartment, the people who work there are friendly and helpful if you need it. They have a wide variety of can goods and essentials for those that live in the neighborhood.They also have lotto, and fresh meat an some produce available...

Bars on the door, liquor and canned goods, small bags of chips and less fortunate people outside pandering

The name implies that this is a family market. It is not. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS PLACE. The shelves are overloaded with nothing but junk food and malt liquor. You are likely to hear foul language, and it would not be surprising if someone offered to sell you drugs. This "Family Foods" store is actually a liquor store, and I would advise you to buy liquor elsewhere.

Love love this store!!!! Great selection on everything needed for a quick grab and go. Recommend any day !!!!
