All the negative reviews are very confusing, because working with Nicole & Maria on my dream dress was nothing short of perfection. I wish I was getting married again just to work with Nicole again. She was so kind, friendly, and comforting. She helped offer great suggestions, and advice on how to best achieve my look. When it came time to my final fitting, she was so accommodating, and helpful. It was like working with a close family member. I could not recommend Mustillo’s to other brides or women more.
Mustillos, professional, my stylist explained different fabrics, and styles how to accessorize your gown she was patient she was very understanding with my needs. My stylist has extensive experience, and made my decision very easy. My daughter Toni had purchased her wedding dress and was breathtaking. My future daughter-in-law Christina also purchased a dress, and she looks like a dream come true I highly recommend Mustillos beautiful gowns and top of the line service
Despite their longtime standing as a family-owned business in the area, the current ownership is disappointing at best. I ordered my dress in October, letting the owner know my wedding was March 3rd in Florida where I live now. After months went by, I had to follow up with Mustillo's to find out the status of the gown. My father died on February 3rd and I came up to NJ still no dress - but I reached out to Mustillo's to let them know I was in town.The dress finally arrived at Mustillo's on February 9th. I got my dress fitting and accommodated *Nicole's schedule* to do so on the weekend of my father's services!! It is now 12 days from the wedding and the dress is not ready yet, and my mom, who is a 70 y/o woman is running around filing death certificates, trying to get down to Florida, was told that Mustillo's will not even box or ship the dress to us. They will not even simply PLACE the gown in the appropriate box so my mom can ship it. This isn't even the bulk of the experience, but it's certainly the kicker. Needless to say, we will not be recommending this business. Do yourself a favor and go to a shop that prioritizes customer experience and professionalism.
I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Mustillo's! From the minute my daughters and I walked into the shop and up the steps into the elegant Bridal section, we knew our journey ended there! The dress selection is simply beautiful and the samples are in perfect condition. When it came time to try on the dresses, Nicole actually spent the time pinning each of the dresses to fit perfectly so we could see the end result without rows of clips spaced down the back of the dresses. My daughter chose a stunning Lazaro dress and cathedral length veil which was altered to perfection by Maria. I purchased my mother of the bride dress there as well, and, couldn't resist a last minute change of plans by grabbing a beautiful Joseph Ribkoff dress off the mannequin to wear at the rehearsal dinner! Nicole, her mother and her staff will always be a highlight of our wedding experience and would definitely do it again!!!
I had the best experience at Mustillos from start to finish! It was such a relaxed and nice shopping experience. I love their curated selection and found the perfect gown and couldn't be happier. I also got my bridesmaid dresses, my rehearsal dinner dress, and my mom got her Mother of the Bride dress here. I love that it is a family owned business and they make you feel at home with the best customer service. Such a wonderful shop - very highly recommend.
Had the most accommodating experience today at Mustillo’s! I had a 45 minute gap of time before another obligation and called to see if I could possibly squeeze in an appointment to look at the bridal selections at the store. The salon owner was very transparent with me and told me I would have to wait a few minutes which I was okay with. Once there, I really valued that I was listened to. The selection of dresses is indicative of a small bridal shop and they are all gorgeous. I was not pressured to buy a dress at all. I felt very comfortable and was shocked to see that on Google reviews that people have rated poorly while The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Facebook have given this bridal salon a 4+ star rating. I would definitely go tell friends and family to try Mustillo’s. I had a very positive experience!
Mustillos crew aka Nicole & Maria have been nothing short off amazing. Nicole was SO gracious and helpful from the day we walked in to buy my wedding gown. In the midst of the craziness of covid we got my dress a week before lockdown in March - after a long year we decided to postpone our wedding to 2022. With the deepest understanding Nicole was amazing!!! She’s holding onto my dress & custom veil! Can’t wait to see how it all comes together when the big day comes. Highly recommend mustillos to any and everyone looking for a wedding dress or wedding guest attire.
Stopped in without an appointment to see what they had in stock as far as wedding dresses go. They were very helpful and had dresses within my budget under $2,000. The dresses are all so beautiful. I can not however give them 5 stars only because I can't rate the process of purchasing from them. I did not find what I'm looking for but I would certainly go back and recommend others check them out. Considering location, I did not think there would be anything within my budget and even though I did not find what I was looking for at Mustillo's, I was pleasantly surprised by the service and selection. The women who helped me made me feel comfortable and listened to what I was looking for.
Mustillos has been a part of our family's dress shopping needs for decades. They are a true small town business with a beautiful store and the most helpful sales people you can find. My mother, sisters, fiancee and other extended family have had nothing but wonderful experiences there. Would recommend to anyone!
Mustillo’s has been a part of our family for generations. My sisters and I got our prom dresses and our wedding dresses from here. My niece got her graduation dress from here and we will be getting her homecoming and prom dresses from here. Hands down, the best place to get a special occasion dress.
