Sad to see this theater close. It really has been a unique place to watch movies. I have enjoyed gathering with friends for many movies here over the years.
This AMC is so beautiful inside. When we arrived we were told that our movie might not be showing, because of that we landed free tickets even though it worked out. It’s very clean including the restrooms and staff are friendly! Our snacks and drinks were ready when we arrived just in time for our movie which was nice - you can purchase items ahead of time using their site. Bonus: reclining heated seats!!
Very beautiful AMC. The seats are amazingly comfortable. The food was good. It was very clean all around.
The movie theater is OK! It is nice and clean inside. The heated and reclining seats are quite comfortable! The heating element is only in the lower back. They lack good food options. There is no hot tea or coffee. Only very limited “usual” movie theater snacks… They don’t even keep a worm bottle of water. All refreshments are from a fridge. Parking! You used to be able to validate your parking ticket in automated kiosks. Kiosks are still there, but they are off! You can get parking validated for up to 3 hours at the information booth. It is located at the entrance of the parking garage. Which is located next to the “tree with lights”. We were told that information booth is opened till 1am. However, when we got there at 12:20am it was already closed… So, if you can, validate your parking before the movies. Location of this movie theater is excellent! After or before the movies you can have a nice dinner, get coffee, ice cream and just walk the beautiful streets of West Palm Beach downtown.
Great location and I love the decor. The theater was easy to navigate. I like that there is a bar to help pass the time to wait. Not sure if your allowed to take those drinks from the bar with you but we did. That made the movie a lot better. The bathrooms were real clean. I wish the theater seats were a lot cleaner. I didn’t get to watch an imax but the standard display wasn’t to bad. The sound was amazing and the theater wasn’t too cold like most typically theaters. Also wish the had a better scanning system to scan the tickets from your smart phone. The employee had to make 3 attempts on just about everybody’s phone just to get it to accept the tickets.
Such a fun experience!! Drank a margarita while reclining in a heated love seat! Awesome! And I love how the feel of the opera house was left.. absolutely stunning!
I was unimpressed with the price of tickets ... with military discount it was still 45$ for 3 tickets, but the outside of the theater and the lobby all look really nice so I was thinking it would be a super nice place, but once you go downstairs to the concession area you can see there is nothing special. It’s dirty with sticky floors like most movie theaters ran by teenagers. The movie theater itself was horrible. The chairs are stained and ripped up.
Amazing memories here over the last 20+ from a teen to a parent. So many date nights where we enjoyed dinner and a movie. Will miss this place when they close. Reasonable prices, ease of renting a theater for birthday parties, great perks for their rewards program.
I really like the ambiance over here.eye catching paintings and the interior was fabulous.the theatre was clean and the movie experience was good because of sound quality and comfortable seat.I am definitely visiting this place again for my next movie experience.
It was a great theater with incredible theming. No other theater could compare. Sadly greedy businessmen have taken over the downtown area. This is a huge loss for our community and no amount of new office buildings sitting vacant can replace it.
