Student organization for celebrating Mexican identities and Mexican voices at The George Washington University.
MXGWU was established in 2013 as the first Mexican-centric organization whose primary objectives are to share Mexican culture, cuisine, and traditions; foster a constructive and informed dialogue about Mexico and its relation with the US; and provide a stronger voice for the Mexican community at GW. MXGWU is composed of Mexican and Mexican-American students from both undergraduate and graduate studies.
Providing a venue to learn, develop identity and be in contact with Mexico through education, debate, culture, networking, and value promotion by facilitating academic, cultural and social events, resources and opportunities to the GWU community and the Association's members.
