My name is Colton, my wife, Abby, and our daughter Audrey. I just recently graduated from UVU with a degree in International Business and have been fortunate to travel a lot for my current job. In early 2016 I was traveling on business in the beautiful country of Colombia when I came across these incredible shoes. I bought 5 pair on the spot for Audrey and my wife and I absolutely fell in love with the cute designs and incredible quality they have for babies and toddlers. Little did I know there would be such a beautiful story behind this little family name when I decided to bring Pasoan to the USA:
The name PASOAN was born in Colombia by a leather worker, his wife, and three daughters. This father saw a need for genuine leather made shoes for children that allows them and their little feet to feel and grow as if they were barefoot while being protected from the cold and sharp objects that children so easily encounter. After many attempts to make the perfect design, he names the brand after his three beautiful daughters PAula SOphia ANgelita and this family business was born. This brand comes straight from Bogotá Colombia, providing 100% genuine leather footwear for newborns all the way to those of three years of age.
My wife and I have taken on the initiative to grow this family business into an international brand and begin their expansion into the United States. Please share this with your family and friends, buy some shoes, and let us know how you and yours like the shoes so that we can spread the word and love to Colombia.

Here is more info about why we are doing what we are doing:
Dr. Lynn T. Staheli, Director of the Department of Orthopedics of not only the Infant Hospital but also of the Medical Center of Seattle Washington, USA, conducted an in-depth and extensive study and she found that young children with the most healthy feet were those who were most commonly found barefoot.
In the words of Dr. Staheli:
“People develop their potential when they are free, the foot also develops better when it is free.”
In other anthropology studies that have been done all over the world, comparing those people who did not wear shoes with those who did, it was observed that those who did not wear shoes possessed much stronger feet, with much more flexibility, mobility, better balance, and at the same time had much less deformities in their feet.
It was discovered that in the majority of occasions, children wore shoes to protect their feet from inclement weather and sharp objects found on the ground.
The ideal footwear for children should provide a familiar feeling to that of which a person experiences when walking barefoot, so the shoe should be lightweight, flexible, and more or less in more of a square shape like the foot. You should not place padding in shoes with any kind of bow or support to the foot or use any kind of heavy shoe until after 3 years of age. When the child is in a safe place, he/she should be allowed to walk around without shoes as this will help the child develop a stronger and more flexible foot.
Baby Pasoan Shoes offers footwear that is made of 100% real leather that gives the sensation of having a second skin, protecting their sweet little delicate feet from the cold.
With so many different styles, designs and colors, these new Pasoan Shoes are made to contribute to the development of the child’s psychomotor, while helping with the perfect formation of the muscle found in the bridges of their feet, thanks to the anti-slip sole made of 100% real leather. . The sizes we provide start with those babies between 0-3 months and go all the way up to those of 3 years of age.
