If I could put zero stars I would. The staff violate my sons legal rights everyday. They stop him from having any visitors and the one time he was allowed, they recorded it. He's only allowed to use a staff member phone and they sit next to him monitoring his conversation. They doubled his dose of the dangerous drug risperidone that he objects to being on. He's rotting away there with no services and no outside contact

Amazing place to work and amazing people to work with. Genesis group homes treats the individuals they serve with the utmost respect and dignity. Top teir company and I throughly enjoy being an employee here.

Genesis Group Homes has been an amazing place to work. The staff are amazing, the individuals we serve are awesome. I definitely recommend Genesis Group Homes as a place to live for your loved ones with intellectual disabilities. I also definitely recommend working here as the company culture is mostly good.  The downside is they only start you at $15 an hour, and they don't promote internally after training you for a promoted position. They say one thing and do another. That is all relatively minor in the bigger picture of GGH being one of the best group home companies I have worked for.

I have worked with many companies and Genesis is among my top 2 employers. There is a family-like atmosphere here. There is respect for the many cultures that diversifies the company and everyone is held to the same standard. The DSPs are passionate about their work and it reflects in the lives of the individuals we serve. The individuals are phenomenal to work with and witnessing steady progress is always awesome. There is consistency in growth and a heartfelt camaraderie. The admin team is also tremendously supportive in all aspects of the job. GGH is a great place to work with great pay!!!!!

Genesis invests in the talent of their employees and encourages them to grow. The training offered and the perks available, e.g., college tuition discounts and education reimbursement, illustrate the dedication Genesis has to the individuals receiving services. A high caliber of support staff ensures a high quality of care. I am honored to be part of the Genesis team.

I just started working here in September. I was always guaranteed my 40 hours, and had the option of overtime as well. The pay is excellent for this field. Not only is it great to work for them as a DSP, but if you show initiative they promote within regularly. I was just promoted from the float DSP position to House Supervisor training and love that they looked at their staff first before hiring out. The management is supportive and the clients are pure joy to work with. This is a great company to work for. Benefits are great as well!

I was in one of their crisis homes during covid 19 in 2020 & I swear it was literally that or the psych ward. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I hated every second of my existence there and wondered if it would ever end or if god would just spare me of my pain and suffering because of what they were taking away from me. I felt like from literally the whole 10 months I was there I was on some sort of parole or supervised house arrest because I lost literally all my privileges and they broke me down psychologically

Genesis is a wonderful place to work, great people to work with, knowledgeable, fun, helpful, professional, and family oriented. It has been very rewarding assisting the individuals we serve.  Genesis really hold to their mission, which is "ECHO" Enthusiasm, Commitment, Humility, and Ownership! To work for Genesis you gain more knowledge and understanding of the overwhelming needs of individuals with disabilities.  If you are someone that's compassionate, honest, take pride is helping the individuals we serve, and is able to continue to uphold Genesis mission this would be a  great team to join!  Gigi

Genesis Group Homes is not a place where anyone should live. My brother lived there for years and during his time there experienced multiple cases of maltreatment. He was hospitalized countless time because of their lack of care for him. Employees who worked there were irresponsible and incompetent and their lack of care for my brother was extremely evident. We were eventually forced to move him out and find a new group home due to his complete and utter lack of safety at the home. If you want your loved one to be in safe hands and looked after by people who will care for them appropriately, I beg of you to not send them here.
