Mycare Health Center

I had high hopes for My Care Health Center, given its claim to be a budget-friendly option for those without health care coverage. However, my recent experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I visited the clinic to have a tooth pulled, assuming that I would receive affordable or even free care, as advertised. To my shock, I was handed a bill for $341 after the procedure. This is completely contradictory to the center's supposed mission of providing accessible healthcare to those who cannot afford it. Not only was I hit with an unexpected bill that I was unprepared for, but the entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch. The lack of transparency about potential costs was disheartening. If I had known that a simple tooth extraction would cost me so much, I would have sought alternatives or at least been mentally prepared for the financial burden. It's disheartening to think that a clinic claiming to serve those in need would resort to such practices. I understand that medical services have costs, but advertising as an affordable or free option and then charging such a substantial amount is unacceptable. My Care Health Center needs to seriously reconsider their pricing practices and be transparent with their patients about potential costs. Until then, I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone looking for genuinely affordable care. This experience has left me both financially strained and with a sense of betrayal from an establishment that should be prioritizing the well-being of its patients over profits.

This is worst doctors office ever like I went there thur my insurance but I need to find a new doctor office this ain’t it .. I had some blood drawn the men didn’t wear gloves at all then they got mad at me because I said I call the health department on them ..dr allor she didn’t help me like she supposed to she never tested me at all but want to give me pills for this n that but can’t tell me what’s going on with my body but want subscribe me meds I been tell her to test me for std n etc but naww she go tell me you ain’t die… then go tell me I’m test you in three weeks but I haven’t had a call in from this doctors office …. But I messed up my finger n I was in the hospital they call to tell me if I want to come in hell naww y’all don’t care about me so why should I attend to anything from this doctors office I used believe she was a good doctor hell naww

Finally found a doctor they listens and cares about my health! I'm so grateful to have Dr. Naughton as my new doctor! I was first greeted by Sarah who went over all my care and the great pleasure to have Hazel as my go to counselor. She called me twice in less then a week to see how I'm doing. Then I have Lisa as my therapist looking forward working with her and the whole team at my care. They really do care. I'm so thankful to all of you .

Do Not!!! I Repeat!! Do Not under no circumstances go here!! You come out better goin to a fortune teller, or maybe even a banker because no one here has experience anyway!! This is the absolutely worse doctors office in Mount Clemens!! Just because you treat low income patients does not give you the right to ignore their concerns and just be so uncaring/incompetent!! You will receive better care at a free clinic!! I will be switching my care to another facility asap!! This is not a one time incident, their horrible service was given on multiple occasions. The doctors are not to bad but the receptionist with the attitude makes it not even worth it!! Every single time you deal with most of them and especially this particular one its awful!! Her customer service is the reason why i will be leaving asap!!! Why hired someone who doesn’t want to be there and treat patients like garbage!!! You have been warned!!!

I have been going since March, the staff I have dealt with has always been nice to me. My peer recovery coach hazel is AMAZING and my counselor Lisa is AMAZING as well dr. McCormick and dr. Naughton are both AMAZING and help with anything you could possibly need. Even a listening ear this place is highly recommended in my books! So glad I found this place! Some days are busier than others but depending on the day you are in and out

May 13th most recent contact with MY CARE and they are the most compassionate office to deal with. Not just this time but many others. I needed to get an appointment urgently and Danielle did everything she could to assist me in every manner. I was able to get a virtual appointment After figuring a few things out. Jasmine called me ON TIME to set me up with the call. She was very thorough in setting up and asking me certain questions and also giving me some background information before I talked to the doctor. I found this very helpful. On this day I talked to Dr.Cuda I was so lucky she happened to be very proficient in the area that I was requiring an appointment for which set my mind at ease for the Friday afternoon and the long weekend if I wouldn't have been able to get this last minute virtual appointment which I am very grateful that she accepted. I have seen Dr. Scott for several years and he is top notch also he has worked out of different offices and there have been many other office staff that have been just as special and caring as the ones that helped me today. I always filled out the paper surveys at the end of my visit. 1st time I had a Google review suggested. I wouldn't take this much time to give all this information as I did today. I THANK YOU MY CARE for helping me when times were down and having your sliding fee scale that you offer and all the other services too. THEY offer ob/gyn,Podiatry,and I believe a few other. They like to try and keep it simple if possible and not send you to a dozen different Dr's office's. If they have a doctor within their offices that can assist you then that is the way they will offer you. Check them out DON'T LET YOUR HEALTH GO!!! They can help

MyCare Mt. Clemens is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Scott and Dr. Naughton are phenomenal, as well as nurses and reception! Also, very convenient for me because I don't drive and it offers other services such as labs and counseling in this same location. So glad to have such a great place so close to home!

The older lady that is a receptionist is awful!! Everytime I have to go to my Dr she ruins the experience! She's nasty rude and it shows on her face! She needs to be addressed. People need drs not to be treated like garbage every single visit! The Drs are amazing but this receptionist is the absolute worse! Who hangs up on patients! So rude!

I like this doctors office. Dr. Naughton was originally just my kids doctor -who is 6 and warmed up to him very well- after seeing how well he interacted with my child I thought I’d see about dr. Naughton as my primary care doctor. He is so nice, warm and welcoming, listens carefully and doesn’t talk over you. He seems like he genuinely enjoys being a doctor and helping people. My only complaint is that the wait times can be annoying and hit or miss. I typically arrive 5-10 minutes early and sometimes I’m seen within a few minutes but sometimes I end up waiting 30-40 minutes.

I have loved this office for about a year or 2 no problems. They hired a new receptionist every thing about her is just mean. While in the office waiting to be seen their was a lady in the lobby who she sent out with such a sad face. I don't know the whole story about their situation. But let's go with my story I had a friend to call to ask what hospital can I go to have an ultrasound she told my friend HIPPA. LAWS won't let her declose that to her if she wasn't on my info sheet. I will say this straight to the point very bad customer service skills at this time.
