Leticia did an amazing job on my spiral perm. Great price and excellent service. My boys 7 & 5 yrs, love how quick and gentle their hair cuts are.
My son is 2 and she did a great job on his hair. She was very sweet with him and gave him candy for doing so good. He had a great experience and said his hair cut is very handsome. Will definitely go back.
I am very disappointed at the service I received from Leticia, the owner of Mystic Salon in Ventura. I went in and asked for golden blonde highlights woven in with some light brown color. It seemed that the beautician was distracted by chatting for over an hour and a half with her friend who came in to visit, so she sent me home without applying toner. It turned out very bland with heavy bleach highlights. I told her I didn't like the tone bleach color, with that whitish ash tone, so she said come in so she could correct it. She said she'd apply toner. I told her to I like the level of lightness from the color lifted, but please make it golden blonde, not white bleach blonde. Unfortunately, even after her second attempt, she still didn't get it right. She added more color but still never applied toner. My hair was almost all brown now with very little blonde. I told her it looked too dark now. I requested a refund. She said wait 5 days, which I did, but very little changed...it was still mostly dark brown. I sent her a pic and told her it wasn't what I asked for and paid for. She wanted me to come in another time to supposedly apply toner for a 3rd attempt. I said no. I think 2 chances was plenty. I asked her to send me a refund again.. she had previously stated she would only refund me $15 of the $90 I paid for her to change my hair color to the golden blonde. Now after the 5 days she wasn't even willing to refund me anything at all! She even stopped replying to my texts. After giving her two chances and making other purchases at her store 2 pair of shoes, hair setting products, and giving her a $24 tip after the first session, it became apparent that she didn't appreciate my business enough to negotiate a fair resolve to the lack of not providing the service I initially ask for. The owner of Mystic Salon simply did not care to fulfill customer satisfaction for the services I asked for and paid for. Dissatisfied with services paid for.. Disappointed in Leticia at Mystic Salon for her lack of customer satisfaction.
I’m happy to be able to support an independent shop that cuts men’s hair. Mystic is conveniently located between downtown and mid-town, is very affordable, and Letitia does a terrific job.
