About

Nachamu Ami Messianic Synagogue (Hebrew: Nachamu Ami - Comfort My People)

Description

Welcome to Nachamu Ami, a Messianic Jewish Synagogue. We are a congregation of Jewish and non-Jewish people worshiping the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of God, who came to save both Israel and all the Nations. (Isaiah 46:6, 56:7)

Nachamu Ami maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture that reflects the faith and practice of the first-century Jewish and Gentile Believers. Our doors are open to all and our congregational family includes people from many religious and ethnic backgrounds.

One important reason for our existence as a Synagogue is to offer a welcoming environment for our Jewish brothers and sisters who desire a deeper understanding of their Judaism, especially within the context of our Jewish Messiah. Equally important is the goal to provide a house of worship and learning for ALL who hunger to know the Jewish roots of the faith; the rich heritage we share, in Messiah, as the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise (Gal 3:29, Eph 2).

The Brit Chadasha ( Newer Testament) tells us that on Shabbat (Sabbath), we could find both Yeshua (Luke 4:16) and Rav Shaul (The Apostle Paul, Acts 17:2) in the Synagogue "according to his custom" Likewise, our Shabbat services are held every Saturday in accordance with the commandment of God in Exodus 19:8-12.

Oneg Shabbat ( refreshments) served after the service.

Mission

Our mission is, first and foremost, to bring glory and honor to God and to proclaim the good news of our Messiah Yeshua to all the world, both Jew and Gentile. We will nurture an atmosphere of healing and restoration within a biblically-based community where the teaching, worship, and lifestyle reflect the Jewish/Hebraic expression of faith in Messiah Yeshua.

The teaching is amazing. The prayers are so beautiful and so perfect. I am so glad Yeshua led us here. I've shared them with family and they loved them. I'll continue to share the word of God and the of Shalom Macon. I pray you can weave His Word into a beautiful tapestry all through the South. It took years to get my husband to look but the Lord opened his heart and eyes and he's far past me in growth!! Praise & raise a hand to God for joy. I pray the same for you. Let each home be FULL of the Holy Spirit! Kris
Great people. Very welcoming to anybody who comes.
My family and I feel at home at Nachamu Ami Messianic Synagogue: a place where one can connect to the Jewishness of Yeshua Jesus and one's faith in a truly warming, family environment. My family and I have never felt so welcomed nor so loved at any one place than at NAMS! The Torah is taught and obedience is nurtured in such a way that leaves no heavy burden of judgement and condemnation, but lifts the congregation up in love and faith. It is truly a safe haven for the people of God to fellowship together in unity and peace.
A beautiful house of worship with uplifting songs and liturgy in English and Hebrew, solid teaching, and people who love the Lord. I love spending the Sabbath here!
Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, wonderful sermon! There is no doubt that the Holy Spirit dwells in this place.
Such a beautiful diverse fellowship, would recommend this for anyone searching for answers.
How and why I ended up here I'm not sure but if the Masters at Google say I was then guess I'm converting. Better get to the books. These guys n gals are serious.
Very sound teaching for Messianic Jews and Gentiles alike.
Love attending. Come join us.
